- A man and woman are seen having sex. Moaning and grunting is very clearly heard. The scene is obscured by lighting - we see thrusting but no nudity.
- A woman has an affair with another woman. They are briefly shown in their underwear kissing aggressively before the camera cuts away from them.
- A man (who is married) is implied to have bought a drink for a woman at a bar. We quickly see them kiss and strip each other almost naked, but the man tells the woman that they must stop.
- A woman asks a man if he is coming. He responds with "I might soon". Young children might miss this.
- A woman comes home from work and has sex with her husband. They start by kissing aggressively and then after a while we see some thrusting; The kissing lasts longer than the thrusting.
- Some suggestive/sexual dialog.
- Woman and man shown in bath together. No nudity.

- It is implied that a woman has broken her arm on purpose.
- Mild, infrequent bloody violence i.e. Gunshots and injuries.

- There is swearing in just about every episode but it is not excessive.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Frequent smoking and drinking throughout. Takes place in the late 60s/early 70s, so many people are smoking
- The use of weed is mentioned a few times and two characters smoke a blunt together in a couple of scenes but they are brief.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The space mission scenes can be intense at times and there is a scene where an explosion happens unexpectedly.
- Suggested MPAA film scoring would be Rated R for violence, language throughout, some sexual content and drug use.
Spoilers
Violence & Gore
- Two characters blister on the moon and blood leaks into low-gravity. This is probably the most disturbing scene of violence in the show.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Two cosmonauts are shot. One of them has a spark inside their suit and he light up in flames underneath his helmet. We later see the result of the poor guy in the next episode. It is moderately graphic, as we see blood and what looks like reddish black remains that are still in the shape of a human body.
