- In the UK, cuts to violence were required before the film could be passed 12A by the BBFC. An uncut 15 rating was also available.
- In an alternate version, the placement of "Iraga Iraga" song was changed. In the original version, it happens after the fight sequence in field when the heroine comes to meet the hero (this brief scene has also been deleted). In the new version, the song takes place after the hero and heroine's family members meet, a sequence which takes long before the fight.
- The film was certified U/A by the Indian Censor Board with some brief cuts. These included excision of VAT 69 label by modifying it with CG, replacing a dialogue with a suitable one, and the excision of cutting a man's hand during a fight sequence by blurring the injury detail and replacing with suitable visuals.
