The opposite of good is good intentions. On the anniversary of getting to know each other, Werner Träsch surprised "his" Gabi with a vacation trip: ten days on Fuerteventura - everything already booked. To his disappointment, Gabi would rather experience culture than lie in the sun and let him know that too. Werner has to digest this disappointment first. Sometimes he lacks empathy, but his heart is in the right place. The "Captain" wants to help immediately when he meets the young homeless Luna on the tour. Not only is she afraid of a gang of boys, she also runs away from something. Together with his colleagues Ralle and Tarik, Werner lends a hand to put the teenager's life in order. Meanwhile, the garbage collectors have to drag an uninvited passenger along. While they are heaving heavy tons, the consultant Felsenhain clacks every emptying into his laptop. Neither his job nor his demeanor make him likeable. Only after a violent exchange of words does the captain discover what is really going on with the consultant - and that he has something in common with Felsenhain.

A wild pile of junk on the sidewalk and a condescending house owner - "Captain" Werner Träsch and his colleagues have little understanding for either. When the angry businessman Waselitzki shows them a large graffiti on a house front that makes him look ridiculous as a ruthless frog prince with a mustache, it dawns on the garbage collectors how crooked the house blessing hangs. They soon learn that Waselitzki is pulling out all the stops to "de-rent" apartments and then re-rent them at exorbitant prices. Whoever is behind the graffiti discovers Tarik by chance: his former buddy Chris, who hides behind the well-known anonymous "Flash". Of course Tarik holds tight. Chris and his girlfriend Lea and their child want to put Waselitzki down anyway. And now he also has to deal with the rubbish. Meanwhile, Werner and his boys find themselves in a dilemma: After a hectic clearance operation in front of an art gallery, the main attraction and at the same time the core of the exhibition, an avant-garde installation, is missing. Ironically, the art lover Ralle is suspected of having accidentally disposed of the metal part. Of course, Werner won't let the desperate gallery owner Eddi, the sister of his colleague Specki, down. Although the "captain" - unlike his colleagues - understands little about art, he knows a lot about creative problem solving.
