Peter's line "to the moon!" and Lois' subsequent rant, is a reference to the sitcom The Honeymooners (1955). While a highly rated comedy during it's time, there were many allusions to domestic violence against women. Some examples include: "POW! Right in the kisser!", "I'm gonna belt her right in the mouth!", "You're a riot, Alice. You're a regular riot. Hope they like those jokes on the moon, 'cause that's where you're goin'."
