Vanya veers between shock and despair as she makes a string of unsettling discoveries. A serendipitous development leaves Five at loose ends.
Making a character that you really hate, detest is a kind of art, and that's the detail about that character they built up. so the film is just good & his acting is fine so you didn't find it boring because of the acting, it was because of what he did made you mad at it. but it's a success for the director, since that detail is made for viewers to hate that character. That's just my thought about it, not really sure.
