Storyline

Steve Wright killed five prostitutes around Ipswich. This documentary examines the phenomenon of serial killers and asks what could be done. The reporter, Michael Nicholson reported on the Moors murders back in the 1960s. He talks to a woman who survived the Yorkshire Ripper, the son of one of Harold Shipman's victims, Criminologist David Wilson on his theories about the likely next serial killer and visits the police school using high tech computer analysis to identify patterns and culprits of serious crimes.
