Storyline

After the open house disaster, Phil has just left, atypically, but the police isn't concerned and the cabby friend's improvised sniffer dog simply finds him in the park, wandering aimlessly. With his mate Bob is hospital, his estranged daughter, visiting from Glasgow, meets his mate Roger, who invites her to stay, hoping she might be his most hypothetical 'lost twin'. Roger also rented the guest room to American tourist Rick and his wife, ignoring his mother already agreed to her meddling sister Joan visiting, and she's not easy to turn down or fool with a Patagonian cover up story. The Disappearance
10 August 2019 | by Prismark10See all my reviews

John Cleese looks to have seen the scripts and walked off the show. Then again John, your mate wrote it.

Phil has disappeared after the calamitous Open House day. Edith is worried but it does not take genius to figure that her grasping family is much to blame here and she should get shot of them.

Neighbour Mr Dugdale knows how to get on his scent.

Meanwhile the cast keeps on expanding. Bob the burglar's daughter shows up in hospital to visit her father. Roger takes paying guests in her mother's house. Inconvenient as Aunty Joan turns up to stay.

The zombie bit at the end was the best of the unfunny moments.
