Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • A teen couple has sex off-screen: the teen girl talks to her best friend about it, mentioning "he was so good going down on me". Later the teen boy says they had sex in the school library, and they "69ed and everything", this was a lie to cover up a very different situation.

Violence & Gore

  • There is the gruesome depiction of a boy's head exploding, with plenty of blood and gore. Bystanders are drenched in blood and brain matter. The camera pans over the dead body showing the gore in detail. A large blood pool forms from the boys stump. Prior to that there are scenes in several episodes showing Sydney running down a street drenched in blood.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Sydney makes Brad's head explode, which turns into a bloody scene.
  • We learn that Syd's father hung himself in the basement of their house, we don't ever see anything. It is only mentioned a few times very briefly and is never spoken about explicitly
