Storyline

Umma has always been disgusted by Appa using the dirty old spoon he used when he was in the Korean Army. She is equally as disgusted by the story he always tells about the spoon associated with hunting a wild boar at the time, hence the reason she calls it his dirty pig spoon. When Gerald sees Appa eating with the spoon and hears the story, he believes Appa and the spoon would make a great photographic subject for an upcoming exhibit. Associated with the exhibit, naive Gerald ends up unwittingly embellishing the story probably even more than the actual reality compared to Appa's story, which may place Appa in an uncomfortable position. Someone who also ends up in an uncomfortable position is Janet when Chelsea offers her her family's membership at an upscale supper club as a venue for Semira's birthday celebration as opposed to the casual bar Janet was planning. Janet ends up making a joke when speaking to their black female server, the joke which could be construed as sexist. ... Written by Huggo
