As always there’s going to be a lot of cool exclusive toys for collectors to pick up at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. Entertainment Earth has revealed one of these collectible action figures that I think some of you will like.
This is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Michelangelo as Batman Action Figure and it’s based on "the hit DC Comics crossover, Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mikey is decked out in Batman's iconic cowl and cape.” This crossover event is also being released as an animated film from DC animation.
The accessories it comes with includes a sewer lid, pizza and extra sets of hands. This figure is a limited edition of 10,000 pieces. It’s a fun Tmnt action figure that I’d definitely want to add to my collection.
The figure is available to pre-order right here with shipping slated for this August.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a new clip from DC’s upcoming animated film Batman Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The clip happens to be the opening scene of the movie and it focuses on the Ninja Turtles as they descend on Gotham City. As you might imagine, Batman is not happy upon hearing about these “lizard men” from Batgirl.
This clip features the Foot Clan descending “upon Powers Industrial, where Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl (voiced by Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's producer/star Rachel Bloom) is getting a first-hand look at an extremely powerful generator.”
Here’s the synopsis for the film:
It’ll take the unlikely unification of the Dark Knight and the Heroes in a Half-shell to overcome the combined villainous forces afoot in Gotham City in the all-new, feature-length animated thriller.

Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles finds Gotham City reaching new levels of danger when Shredder joins forces with Ra’s al Ghul to enact a nefarious plan – leading to the team-up of the Dark Knight and the Turtles to combat the combined might of the Foot Clan and League of Assassins!
The Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles all-star cast is led by Troy Baker as the voice of both Batman and the Joker – making Baker the first actor to ever play both roles in the same film. Opposite Baker are the Ninja Turtles themselves – Emmy Award/Golden Globe Award/SAG Award winner Darren Criss as Raphael, Kyle Mooney (Saturday Night Live) as Michelangelo, Baron Vaughn (Grace and Frankie) as Donatello, and Eric Bauza as Leonardo.

If you were to ask me, 2019 is shaping up to be one heck of a year for DC animation. Already, we’ve been impressed by Reign of the Supermen and Justice League vs. The Fatal Five, with the long awaited Batman: Hush adaptation also set to arrive sometime this summer. Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, meanwhile, is scheduled for release in the fall, but I wouldn’t doubt if that gets pushed to 2020 so that it can coincide with Wonder Woman 1984‘s theatrical debut.
Much to my delight, a fifth offering was worked into the middle of that slate, as Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been confirmed for a late spring release. Not only is this making a fantasy many of us have been pondering since childhood a reality, but it should also satisfy fans of the comic book crossover which served as inspiration.

The first trailer for Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has arrived, along with the reveal of it’s stacked voice cast as well as the film’s eventual home video release. Based on the six part comic crossover of the same name, the recently confirmed animated film looks to be a pretty close adaptation of it’s source material. There’s some pretty awesome moments in the trailer, so hopefully the final film will live up to the promise that this first look provides.

After we were all treated to one kick-ass trailer for Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles a few days ago, I’d suspected that we’d learn much more about the monumental mashup’s home video release before the week was over. As it turned out, I was proven correct.
Luckily, we won’t have to wait too much longer to get our hands on this bad boy, as it’s been confirmed that it’ll arrive on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack and Blu-ray Combo Pack on June 4th. Or, if Digital is your thing, you’ll be able to join the adventure a little earlier on May 14th.
To give an idea of what to expect from the feature itself, it’s best you know that the flick is based on the Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book miniseries written by James Tynion IV and illustrated by...

2019 is shaping up to be an amazing year for DC animation. Already, we’ve seen the impressive Reign of the Supermen, and if that weren’t enough, Justice League vs. The Fatal Five arrives in April, with the long awaited Batman: Hush adaptation also set to debut at some point this summer. Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, meanwhile, is scheduled for release in the fall and finally, we have the cherry on top of it all in the form of Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book miniseries written by James Tynion IV and illustrated by Freddie Williams II is acting as the source material for this effort and given that every character was penned perfectly, not to mention the narrative itself being top notch as well, our hopes are certainly high for this one.
