Genius is a man after all.
The first scene of the last episode. When Einstein is lying on the bed, not moving, not thinking, and not breathing, it hits me that Genius is also a human after all. That's what the series is trying to tell. 'Genius' does a great job of not only providing a visual explanation of Einstein's scientific discovery but also exhibiting his personal struggles and emotions. He's known not only for his genius brain but also (even more) for his kindness, fraternity, and attention for the weak.
Einstein's seventy years of life is faithfully, evenly, and meticulously presented in chronological order. It almost feels as if I've watched a documentary. It's a massive and painstaking work. Writers do a great job of organizing enormous amounts of information very efficiently. Within an episode, time jumps around a bit, but writers manage to make it not confusing at the same time. They also manage to include the social background when Einstein has made important decisions in his life, so the audience can understand them more thoroughly.
It's a well-made series for sure. The science part of it is not boring at all. For a viewer who has almost no knowledge of science, I could at least understand that certain theories and achievements happen at certain points of his lifetime and that they affect Einstein in a certain way. It's just that 'Genius: Einstein' would've meant so much for me if I had more scientific knowledge and if I had been a fan of Einstein.

'Killers of the Flower Moon' brings awareness to the history and the culture of Osage Nation. Unfair justice systems and corrupt and immoral individuals combined cause unbearable harm to innocent people. The funny thing is that the research of an actual event after the movie is more interesting. I'm not a fan of Scorsese films in the first place, and 'Killers of the Flower Moon' FEELS particularly long. I'm not blaming the length of the movie because there are tons of other movies that have made time fly like an arrow. In all of Scorsese's movies I've watched, he doesn't even care to organize the storyline. How he tells the story is often messy and spontaneous. It spreads everywhere and fails to be concluded clearly. He is considered to be one of the greatest filmmakers, and I'm sure his style of direction is not wrong, but it's just not my style. He alters the point of view from the book, so it can be more drama and romance than crime genre. He does not succeed in either of them. The film is too weak to be crime, romance, or drama.
'Hear Me: Our Summer' is the embodiment of summer. The story of youth. Color, setting, and music are all summery. Actors, acting, and costumes are fresh and cool.
The movie takes me back to my late 20s when I, too, did not know what to do with my life. Always somewhat nervous but full of life, hope, and dreams. It's so pleasant to see that young and fresh love as it is again.
Actors bring that freshness into the screen so adorably and realistically. I'm not even that much a fan of the romance genre, but Hong, Roh, and Kim, three main actors, make me believe and be absorbed into the story. New faces achieve so much in this movie.
The whole movie is placid, mild, and quiet. Not much drama. Even though there are a few dramatic events, the range of emotions stays calm. The funny thing is it is still absorbing without kicks or spices.
