Second season outstanding

Almost had several seizures from laughing. Very creative and well thought out. Amy a surprise find and excellent acting Yes this is entertainment but for those who have worked for govt (state and federal for me), the script is entirely accurate, so there is no poetic license. This is how Australian government often works and even worse. Many colleagues comment that these actors must have had a stint in govt, especially the facial expressions.

But view this for the superb production and acting as it is - 10/10.

Lost in time

I quite liked this production and have been searching for it. A great ABC production and I believed it inspired GP. Mason acted very well and a realistic setting in Redfern, Sydney.

Keeps me on the edge of my seat

I find it very engaging and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Very realistic in so far as there are bungles buy a'' 'sides' and that displays the strong human emotion that the production elicits. Strong realism and lends a sympathetic perspective to all parties. I get cravings waiting for the next series to be released.

Brilliant and enthralling

I still rank this in the top three films I have seen. The production, especially the division of the film around some of Mishima's literature, is superb. I really like the score (Phillip Glass) plus Snyder's narration is outstanding. I certainly triggered a personal thirst for his writings. The split in taking on the final day, the infusion of Mishima into the books is brilliant. Cinematography is outstanding and a great interpretaiton if Japan in the 1960s/7os. Enthrallign and will have you in the edge of your seats.

Top 10 films made

I believe it's still the highest grossing Korean film ever and packed cinemas in South Korea, not only due to the emotive subject. As for the film, I rate this in the top three films I have ever seen. And that's not taking away from the excellent Korean film industry. Not being too familiar with the incident at first, I was thoroughly convinced they went on the assassinate Kim IlSun and for the first 30m I was questioning history.

I think the score is outstanding, as is the cinematography. Some very emotional scenes and not the happiest of endings. Gut wrenching throughout with brilliant shades of humanity. A must watch

Blue Murder (1995)

Aussie crime drama 10/10

I'm still of the opinion that this is the best telemovie/production I have ever seen. So powerful it led to the Police Royal Commission, several arrests and the reform of NSW police (for better and worse). Several of the real life individuals said the acting was identical to the real life characters specifically Neddie Smith, Roger Rogerson and Dale 'hitman' Flannery.' I once saw Richard Roxburgh watch Roger Rogerson watch him play himself. Surreal. Terrific score and has you on the edge of your seat throughout. The Neddie Smith commentary is suitably fitting, especially the last line. Some of the language and scenes have entered the Australian vernacular, especially the 'old Kooka' stove. An absolute must see.

In a time of violence

The line was seen internationally as 'In a time of violence.' I'm still convinced this is one of the best Telemovies I have seen and certainly from South Africa. Vusi Kunene is superb and it's a place for some very well know South African actors. Overall, keeps you on the edge throughout and never a dull moment. Not to mention it's very realistic take on post-apartheid South Africa. Good score on the series. Highly recommended.
