Eight Crazy Nights (2002)

8 Crazy Nights was SOoOoOoO funnny!!!! If this movie didn't make you laugh, then you must be dead inside... or something to that effect. This movie really cracked me up, and now I want the DVD. I was actually a bit skeptical when it started, but the plot builds up nicely ((and even has a nice/touching moral that goes with it)) and its just *non-stop* laughs. Adam Sandler is pure genius. He really did a good job with this.

Oh, and don't be turned off by the ONE poop joke, it's really not that horrible.

I hope everyone gives this movie a chance; I really can't see how some people didn't like it. But oh well, I recommend it to everyone with a good sense of humor. God bless!

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)

What an awesome movie!

I'm sooo in love with this movie. Its way better than Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or any other Hindi film or ANY film in general that I've ever seen! It's that good! I just want to recommend this to everyone ESPECIALLY if your a Shah Ruhk Khan/Kajol fan, they are awesome together. The whole supporting cast does a great job too- Put together with the beautiful direction of Aditya Chopra they turn a simple storyline of uncliched love into a heartfelt movie you can watch over and over again. Oh, and did I mention the songs rock too!

Akkare Akkare Akkare (1990)

i understand that there's probably not a lot of people who are going to see this movie, much less, comment on it.. but, if you are one of the few lucky people who are reading this comment right now then i just want to let you know that Akkare Akkare is one the funniest movies ever made.

The whole beginning of it is just getting into the story, the whole premise of two confused Malayalee men in the middle of America is great.. as soon as Mohanlal & Sreenivassan arrive in America the fun begins. There were few scenes of pure hilarity that i have to pick out ~

The part where Sreenivassan is framed stealing from the grocery store and put in jail and Mohanlal runs after the cop car he's in.

The part where Mohanlal and Sreenivassan put soot on their faces and put on black shirts to act like negroes to convince a Malayalee lady to give them her clothes (lol)

The part where Mohanlal and Sreenivassan do that funny dance on the top of a building and on the sidewalks, thats just funny for millions of reasons

The part when Sreenivassan gets the big gold crown stuck on his head and him and Mohanlal run from the whities.

Haha, you should just watch this movie for those parts alone... hilarious. I think Mohanlal and Sreenivassan make an awesome team, definitly the funniest that I've ever seen. This is kind of like Dumb & Dumber, Malayalam style, but Mohan & Sreeni are ten times funnier than Jim Carrey and whats-his-face will ever be.

I recommend this to anybody w/ a sense of humor! ;D

Henna (1991)

A good movie

My dad made me watch this movie with him, and I wasn't expecting anything too awesome. I was clearly surprised AND delighted with this movie, i liked the story-line and the acting.. it was both funny and touching.

Zeba Bakhtiar was cute and she did a great job in the some-what lead role.

What was truly remarkable w/ this film was the amazing use of color, it was very vibrant and in-your-face.. some scenes were so elaborate, it was kind of like the Moulin Rouge.

Anyway, this was a great film, I'd recommend it to everyone!

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)

I love this movie!

First of all, I am 100% Indian, but am a full blooded Malu.. Lemme just tell you Malyalam films suck so I'm usually watching Hindi ones. Hindi music is amazing, i have the soundtrack to Kuch Koch and I recommend it to everyone. The music is awesome, Shah Rukh is a good lip-sincher, but Kajol could brush up... and its quite obvious that they use the same voice for big Anjali, Tina, AND the grandmother (whose REALLY funny btw)

Anyway, the acting - Shah Rukh Khan is great as always, but hes stereotyped as the weepy guy who gets the girl once again, Kajol is a very good actress & I loved the way she looked in that black linka when her hair was really long, Ronnie did great (* her and Kajol are cousins you know, i liked seeing them in this film together, they are both very beautiful also) I also thought that the little girl, Sana Saeed that played young Anjali did a GREAT job, heh- "Hi,Sexy!" Salman Khan is VERY hot indeed, but he can't act, he's just there for his stunning good looks & big muscles [hes kind of the Hindi equivalence to Keanu Reeves] ... Other notable performances Anupam Kher as Mr.Malhotra was absolutely hilarious, i was laughing so hard when he was asleep and Ms.Bridganza called him.. he woke up giggling like a little girl, it was so funny. I'd recommend this movie to anyone of all ages, some people will tell you this is is over-rated, but it's just NOT true, this is a great movie... and ~ NEELAM ROCKS!

3rd Rock from the Sun (1996–2001)

Tooo Funny!!

II have never laughed so hard at a sitcom other than "Friends" and "The Simpsons" until Third Rock From The Sun came along.

Their logic, dialouge, and cast are all top-class and hilarious. John Lithgow, without a second of doubt is simply THE BEST.. the way he pronounces his words is just a laugh on it's own.. i love it. His comical timing is great, and he can get away with some quotes that I can't imagine anybody else pulling off. He rocks. The rest of the cast is also very good. Simbi Khala and Jane Curtin as Nina and Mary are fun and enjoyable. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is getting hotter by the second and he always manages to make me laugh, French Stewart.. lol, the way he looks alone is a laugh in itself. Kirsten Johnson is great as a strong female, i like her a lot. In fact, I like the whole cast. I'm going to miss them !! At least we still have their hilarious re-runs.

10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

The best teen movie.. ever ; - )

I loved this movie to death, it has the BEST teen cast I've ever seen. Hot talent, excellent writing, good direction, and a kiss-azz music score makes this movie able to be watched over and over again. I was so amazed at how talented the actors were, I just have to tell you what I thought of them ~

First off, I love Julia Stiles as Kat Stratford, Julia is the only blonde I have ever seen who could probably not pull off a clueless valley girl act (which is a good thing, trust me, black-haired, brown-eyed girls like me don't wanna watch dumb blondes.) Joseph Gordon-Levitt is adorably sweet and lovable here, I just wanted to kiss him. Heath Ledger, i can explain in one word : hot. And last but not least, Larisa Oleynick was great, very pretty, and not annoying although some of her dialouge wasn't my style.

Buy it, rent it.. i don't care, just SEE iT !!! But do keep in mind that I said best "teen" movie, not best movie. Now SEE iT !!!

Boys (1996)

The cover is mesmirizing alone

Ok, so, yeah, it was weird & a tad boring at times, but i thought that all in all, it was pretty enjoyable for a boring Saturday afternoon, because after i started to watch it for 2 minutes, I discovered that I was so curious to see what was going to happen next that i was mesmirized. The guys in it are kinda good-looking and pretty funny, if you're willing. And I have to say, I love the picture of Winona Ryder on the movie cover, she has a certain look to her that's just mysterious and attractive. I heard that the script of this movie changed and after Winona heard about that she didn't like it and wanted to refuse to be in it, so she must've been very un-willing to this movie during filming.. you can kind of tell if you pay close attention too. I wouldn't recommend renting it or buying it, cuz it comes on tv all the time, and if your bored enough I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Jerry Maguire (1996)

a generally likable movie

Jerry Maguire is a universal favorite, it has good dialouge, good comedy, and some good actors. But when you think about it and put it into perspective there isn't anything thats just absolutely amazing, weird, or different about this film. The acting was excellent from Tom, Renee, and Cuba Gooding Jr. (and Aries Spears) The little kid and Kelly Preston were extremely annoying. I really just had to roll my eyes at the part where Kelly beats up Tom Cruise, I mean - yeah right, like she could actually do that.. That and other moments made this film very un-real and annoying.

Bulletproof (1996)

Very good film

This is an awesome comedy starring Adam Sandler, who is ALWAYS fun to watch and Damon Wayans who I can stand. They work well together and this movie is really enjoyable, expecially if your in the mood for a comedy. Sure, the action wasn't that great, but it's not exactly bad. I liked this movie.. and I just want to say ADAM ROCKS!! My favorite scene - Adam singing I Will Always Love You while taking a shower. Lol, he has major singing and acting talent, and he's nice to look at too. Yum.

Clueless (1995)

Horrible

I loved the book Emma, and this movie made me shudder when I heard it was an adaptation of the book. I wish it was never made. Every word that came out of Alicia Silverstone's mouth was idiotic and extremely annoying. Why does everyone think Alicia is a good actress? I think shes horrible, I'd like to see her getting her ass kicked in the ghetto - cuz thats entertainment. I recommend the Gweneth Paltrow version of Emma, thats good stuff.

Late Show with David Letterman (1993–2015)

WOW, The best talk-show EVER ~!

David Letterman is a smart and insanely funny man. He's brought us this amazing show that has about a thousand unforgettable moments and a mouth-full of witty remarks. The thing I love about his show the most is that it has such an unpredictable-feel to it, its much much better than Leno, and any other talk-show I've seen. Letterman is great at being a talk-show host, its like he was born to do it. I also love Paul Shaffer, he is an awesome music director and a lot funnier than any other music director i have ever seen! I hope this show keeps going forever!! I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT ~!!

Anne Frank: The Whole Story (2001)

Absolutely Amazing

This movie was the best I have ever seen of The Diary of Anne Frank. The girl that played Anne was a really good actress, i hope she starts an ongoing career after this, she was great! This whole movie was just flat-out amazing. The set was an excellent recreation of the Holocaust. It really had me crying at the parts where Anne gets seperated with her dad, and when Margot died. The scenery was perfect, and they really did the whole story like it says in the title, good job Disney! And the saddest part of this movie is that its real, its a great salute to the Frank family, they are very honorable people. I have a deep respect and sympathy for anyone who was in the Holocaust now, so i have a lot to thank this movie for.

Sex and the City (1998–2004)

its not tv, its porn

...well, maybe thats pushing it, but it is pretty close. This show is horrible and it makes me shudder to think of how many great reviews its received. This show is unrealistic and whoever said Sex and the City bashers be damned needs to shut up.. this should be moved down to late night because I wouldn't want my kids to accidently stumble on this trash. Did you know that its a sin to have pre-marital relations? I don't mean to be so judgemental, but geez- have some dignity

Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997)

the best!!

I can't see how someone could not fall in love with this movie, its so fun and fresh. At the end it makes you feel good, and it keeps you giggling all through-out it. What else could you ask for? Mira Sorvino is cool and she is very believable as Romy White. Lisa Kudrow is the bomb! I love her on Friends, and she is just the most comical woman on earth.. she shines in everything she does and this movie is no exception.

I would recommend this to you if your in a fun frisky mood. Laughs are guarenteed.

The Wedding Planner (2001)

like i said in my one line summary: This movie is a Wedding Singer-wannabe, theres only a few differences one being- The Wedding Singer was actually funny. The Wedding Planner has to be the most boring movie I've seen this year. Theres nothing more to the characters of J-Lo or Matthew McConaughey other than being attractive. They might as well not have named these people, just let them stand there and be pretty.I would only recommend this movie to you if your truly all about the sap, or your a huge fan of J-Lo, but to all the people who want to laugh, i have to warn you that the only funny jokes I remember during this movie is the ones i whispered to my friends about how stupid it is.

Billy Madison (1995)

This is one of Adam Sandler's best movies. I am a HUGE fan of him, and I own all of the movies he's ever done, so I would know. The first time I saw this my sides were aching by the end of it, cuz it made me laugh that hard! How could anybody have the nerve to call this movie corny? I don't laugh at corny jokes, this movie was far from corny!! Adam is so cute, and his love interest, Bridgette Wilson was really pretty and a great actress. I have no complaints for this movie whatsoever. Norm MacDonald, Chris Farley, and Steve Buscemi are also in this movie, and have quite enjoyable and funny roles. I would recommend this to everyone whose not an uptight person that only likes boring or sappy movies, you will L0VE this!!

Pulp Fiction (1994)

W 0 W ! !

i saw this movie a few years ago, and i just watched it again today. All I can say is W0W! I forgot how good this was!! It is absolutely amazing (and not to mention fun) to watch how these characters grow on you, and how you can root for the bad guys. This is the best movie that Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, and John Travolta have ever done! I'm not for sure about Bruce Willis though (Armageddon and The Sixth Sense were really good!) My favorite character has to be Samuel L Jackson, as Jules, he is so cool, and hilarious, I also think he had the best lines, and acted them out perfectly. This video is so close to perfect that its scary. I'd recommend it to anyone with a pulse!

Passport to Paris (1999 Video)

Like, OhMyGosh!

Unless you are a HUGE Mary-Kate and Ashley fan (and I can't see how anybody could be) then I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone. Its totally stupid and VERY annoying. The Olsen twins characters are exactly alike, what happened to that whole one is a tomboy and the other is a girly-girl thing they had going on? I liked that a whole lot more than this premise. The plot was pointless and held together with ditsiness and words like "Oh my gosh" "like" "Whatever" and "Uh! As if!" I don't see how anybody over the age of 8 could enjoy this movie!

VeggieTales: Very Silly Songs (1997 Video)

S0 CUTE!

I wish VeggieTales were around when I was a kid. They are so cute and I absolutely L0VE the fact that they are teaching little kids so much about God and bible stories. The kids in the children's church at my church know the words to these silly songs by heart, and can sing along and enjoy these tapes over and over again. I think their hilarious, and I'm past that little-kid humor. I think even adults could enjoy this with their kids. So, get your kids away from that Pokemon crap and buy them a VeggieTales tape (preferably this one:Very Silly Songs) I promise you'll be pleasantly surprised at how great they are!

The Ten Commandments (1956)

Who can possibly diss this movie??

This movie is absolutely amazing. It may be an old-timer but it is 100 times better than the movies we have coming out lately. We should base more movies on the bible, its the only true logic left in this world. Not only is this film educational, its also very interesting, and the cast makes every individual part real. Cecille B. Demille amazes us again with this movie. This film could be a tool of witnessing also, so many movies out there are about sex and scandal.. just watch this and you'll be filled with the feeling that there are things out there that are far more entertaining than watching dumb crap like that. God is so powerful,amazing, and loving, there really should be more movies about him.. and more actors like Charlton Heston.

Charlie's Angels (2000)

Cute movie

This movie was everything I expected it to be. The three leading ladies Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Lui were all gorgeous.. but how can you expect them to make a good comedy? This movie was so corny! Because those girls are just not funny! Cute-yes, but funny-no. Funny girls are actresses like the 3 pretty girls on Friends (Jennifer Anniston, Lisa Kudrow, and Courtney Cox), Sandra Bullock, or Julia Roberts. The only part that I even thought was funny was when Cameron D was dancing, that was hilarious.. also, Tom Green did ok. They should have given Matt LeBlanc funnier lines, he could have made this movie a lot better, hes a good actor..

The Wedding Singer (1998)

HILARIOUS! Funniest movie I've ever seen!

I am a huge Adam Sandler fan, so I expected this movie to be good, even though all I knew about it was that he'd be singing (I've seen him sing on SNL and I was widely impressed) this movie totally lived up to my expectation. All the jokes were top-notch, as were the actors.. Sandler was so loveable, and not dumb-lovable like he is in his other movies. Drew Barrymore does a pretty good job, and the chemistry between them was not at all akward as I expected it to be. This is the kind of movie you can pop in any time of the year and never get tired of the jokes! If you haven't seen it yet then run to the nearest video rental place and get it, you wont be dissapointed!

Popular (1999–2001)

started out good

This show started out with Brooke and Sam being enemies, forced to live with each other. The popular people and the outcasts were enemies and that gave the show a lot of character and perspective that the audience would actually be interested in watching. Now, everything somehow got messed up with this show. Lily and Josh are dating? Brooke and Sam are friends? Why is Nicole extremely kind in some episode but then rude as she can be in other episodes? WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS SHOW?!! I think the actors are great, but its too bad seeing them have to work with such bad dialogue and plot

Saturday Night Live: The Best of Adam Sandler (1999 TV Special)

Adam is awesome

Everything on this movie is hilarious. It is all so memorable, i know that I will be able to watch this movie over and over again. Saturday Night Live is such a great show, but lately their material seems over-used and unfunny. This video really is the BEST of Adam Sandler. I especially liked Opera Man, Denise Show, and when he sang.The people i was watching this video with and I were on the floor cracking up on those skits. Watch this video for a good laugh, especially if your a huge Adam Sandler fan like I am.
