I hope the fat nerds have left by now, so that I can finally say I liked it without being marked unhelpful. Do you even know what that word means? Is there a part of my review that you didn't understand? If not, then let me let you know it's not a dislike button. It just means your reading comprehension isn't good. With that said, let's move on to the actual review.
As a kid, I never like Batman: The Animated Series. I was more of a Tom and Jerry and Mickey Mouse kid. I began liking Batman after I got into college, and after watching Batman: The Animated Series, I realised what an awesome childhood I missed. I had been wanting that to be recreated, since the show isn't available on any streaming service in India, and I have watched all the old Batman animated movies (Mask of the Phantasm >>>).
When this show came, I hopped on to it immediately. Sure, there are some things different, like Penguin is a woman and Gordon has been race swapped. But this is a fresh take on the franchise. You don't hate on The Boys for making Victor Neumann a woman or MCU for making Nick Fury black, then make an exception here too on that.
My favourite character from the show was Harvey Dent. He was pretty much the deutragonist of the show after Batman. I like how his transformation was shown. Every character had depth to them. The animation is off, like many other bad reviews have pointed out, but it's not irredeemable. Plenty is happening on screen. It's obvious the budget here wasn't as high as Batman: TAS, so that can be forgiven.
Overall I'd say I liked it, and my opinion is always correct when it comes to entertainment. Now that we all know it's a fresh take on Batman and nothing like TAS, you know what to expect while going in.

I began watching this series the moment it came out. I didn't know what to expect going in, except that it is somehow related to Mega Man and Pac-Man. As of writing this review, the Mega Man episode isn't out yet (only until S1 E8 - Armored Core: Asset Management are released), but seeing the way this series is going, it's safe to say that the episode will be great, as Mega Man is one of my favourite franchises, and the way this series is made, it will pastiche it well.
Similar to Love, Death and Robots, this series is an anthology focusing on the cool animation, simple story, world-building with minimal exposition, and of course, the violence. It takes a game, and plays out a narrative on it which we have known, but never focused much on (except Pac-Man; they did something completely different there). The ending is often left ambiguous, and yet complete with the story.
My favourite episode as of now is Unreal Tournament: Xan. I haven't played Unreal Tournament but only seen videos of it, so I didn't expect this to be the one I'd like the most rather than a franchise I know well about, like Sifu (not saying it's bad, all are good; just that it's hard to choose the best). They made Xan look way cooler than what he looks like in the game. The way the episode was presented also looked a lot like a remaster of the game. And my bete noir episode is Pac-Man. Like I said, all are good. It was good as its own story, but it didn't have anything much to do with the popular game.
The moment the show was out, I recommended it to my friends. If you like gaming or Love, Death and Robots, I'd say you should watch this. Even if you know nothing about the games, you will still find the storyline enjoyable, and it might even end up as a gateway for you into the world of that franchise. Like I knew nothing about Warhammer 40,000 but I learnt about it from here. It's a definite recommendation from me. I can't wait for the Mega Man episode.

Before seeing the reviews, I had no idea I was not supposed to like it. So too bad, I have already liked it. The only problems I had were that the jokes were a little too childish, which is completely understandable since the story is also being narrated by a the human's younger sister. The other problem I had was the lack of many recognisable cameos as had been in the prequel. But the ones that I mainly cared for, such as the DC characters were there. So that outdoes the bad things for me.
The fact that this is entirely made using stop motion with LEGO toys outshadows anything bad it has done for me. So I'd recommend it.
