I don't think I've seen a more ridiculous review section than this one. The actors, the cinematography and just all over it was really great. Is it better than the original? No, but its not trying to be. This movie dives into the importance of the underlaying meaning of it all. I'm shocked to read people call this "racism being pushed in their faces" when the way people get treated in the movie is not far of from actual reality. That is HORROR. Would I have liked for this to have been more horror in the blood spilling creepier way? Definitely, but that was not the point of this one. And im totally okay with that. Please consider watching it and not only basing the decision on these 2 and 3 star reviews.

I've been a huge fan of this universe for years and this movie was a wonderful way of -probably- wrapping it up. There were less jump scares than we're used of from these movies but the story itself absolutely makes up for it. This wasn't just about the horror of evil spirits but also of the consequences this type of 'job' can bring. As always Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson steal the show. Don't even get me started on the cinematography and costumes, definitely the best out of all three of them.

I don't know what type of show everyone's watching to give this a 1 or call it the worst thing they've ever seen?? There are some mess ups but the story was interesting, cinematography was great and so was the cast. It is worth giving a try!

The story is quite interesting start to finish but it never really gives you that moment you feel you've been waiting for. The plot was predictable but in a way it didn't bother me it was so straight forward, the acting kept it interesting. The cinematography was really great and is probably the main reason I gave it a 6. Don't expect the coolest plot twist ever, but if you ever have some time give it a shot.

I didn't hate it, but also wasn't really sold. Various reviews here and many other websites explain what happens in the book and it makes me wish I read it instead of watched this. The overall vibe of the movie is interesting and there's a good cast, but it leaves many questions. The best part of the movie was definitely the ending, I loved it. I just wish the other 2 hours of the movie built up to it better and in a more exciting way. To me it was like the final 15 minutes and the rest of the movie came from different people and it makes it feel out of balance.

I do recommend to watch it though, but can guarantee you'll be left hanging with some confusion

I can't deny that knowing what the cast was gonna be was the main reason I wanted to watch it, and it really didn't disappoint. All of them embodied the character and I was not bored for a minute. Really good set up from the moment the movie starts and even though it's 2h20, it feels like you could watch even more. Tom Holland really outdid himself in this.

Don't be fooled by low ratings. The casting was so well done they really bring the story to life. I've always liked vin diesel, he has this something to him and this role fits him so well. Great acting, good plot and good cinematography. The only note I have is that I would've loved to see even more action

Lot of end of the world movies follow the same storyline but this one had that little extra. Felt like the way they handled this was more realistic, so in a way 'scarier'. I usually like seeing a lot of the destruction and action itself but I definitely recommend watching it
