Slap Shot (1977)

original version vs version québécoise (en & fr)

Most of the people seem to have seen this movie in English. Although it is not a bad movie, I actually liked it a lot, it somehow feels less funny than the French Canadian version. The funny humour from the QC voice actors made it more than a hockey movie, it made a classic, in Québec at least. In my whole life, this is the only movie that I have preferred in a translated version (they are usually awful and ruin everything that made the original great except for the graphics), so if you speak French, at least enough to understand the weird way the guys said root beer in French, than I believe you should try it out if you liked the original.

Et pour ceux qui parlent français seulement, j'ai dit que c'était le seul film que je préférais en français plutôt que dans la version originale, simplement à cause de l'humour typique québécois, mais que les deux versions étaient bonnes.
