He's All That (2021)
And what could you expect?
31 August 2021
Instead of the protagonist being played by some promising and seasoned actress, Addison Rae is playing here. Since TikTok to forgive the "stars" have greater privileges to be in the lead roles than real actors who know the knowledge. Smart enough.

What If...? (2021– )
5/10
Interesting but unnecessary, strange and bad paced expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe/Multiverse
12 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
What if ...? Is a Marvel animated series and the fifth installment of the Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series addresses the titular question "What if ...?" and some key MCU events have been changed.

First of all, I like the decision according to which this series is the official canon of the MCU considering how the borders of the Multiverse have been broken in Loki.

As for the first episode itself, let's say it was medicore and pretty strange. It had a bunch of cheesy dialogues, but otherwise it was quite interestingly designed. Personally, I think it could have turned out much better if it had lasted for a full hour because everything seems a bit too hasty like this, so, it's bad paced.

The animation is to me amazing. I have a feeling like they were filming real people with a camera and then just put on some filter. The characters are well-designed, and I especially liked the Watcher as some kind of omniscient being, some kind of maybe even a god of the MCU, or rather the MCM (Marvel Cinematic Multiverse) now.

And another big complaint. Despite some events being altered, everything is actually the same, but in some strange and twisted way. And above all, the whole series is to be honest in this way as it is conceived PRETTY UNNECESSARY AND POINTLESS. If we look at it that way, who cares what it would be like if Carter replaced Cap.

For the continuation of the series, I hope that they will decide to include a slightly more intriguing plot, such as a situation in which The Watcher will eventually have to save the entire Multiverse from some villains like Mephistopheles or Galactus because it may add some meaning to the series. Since I'm not too familiar with comics, what I do know is that they contain some really cool characters like Beyonders so it would be nice to see them in this series that might have the potential to teach us more about the structure of everything.

And finally I want to say that I will definitely come forward with my opinions at the end of the season and ultimately the series.

Hugo (2011)
7/10
The ode to the cinema
6 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Hugo is Scorsese's only one family friendly movie. This film is an ode to early filmmaking, especially to the great Melies, pioneer of true cinema.

I've already seen A Trip to the Moon, but Hugo inspired me to watch a few more Melies films from his opus.

This film looks beautiful, it is very vivid and exciting, the plot has several plot-twists, and the characters are diverse and interesting, among the episodicc roles in the film I woud mention monsieur Labise played by the brilliant, but departed Sir Christopher Lee, and of course I'll mention monsieur Frick, a lovable character with comedic dialogues played by Richard Griffiths, know for his role as a awful uncle Vernon. One of the more important characters, an station inspector played by sacha Baron Cohen remindes my of a officer Crabtree, a sloopy inspector with a criminal French accent from the 'Allo 'Allo!, when he said "Good moaning.", I'd start drowning. Basically, Scorsese can make a great movie without having blood, fire and if he need gambling, drugs and perversions.

Colorful, wonderful, just... Unbeliveable - movie that deserves his place in DCEU who is unfortunetaly full of miscarriages. Good news - movies are getting better and better.
6 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I watched this movie in cinema the day before last. I started to watch movie with low expectations, but I was pretty wondered.

James Gunn is great director and his type of directing is really characteristic. The film combines multiple sub-plots, and really, number of characters that worked togheter is really impressive.

The film has its flaws, of course. Humor is sometimes really forced, there are some holes in the conspiracy (specifically, it's not clear how Blackguard collaborated with the bad guys and how Amanda Waller came back after they overthrew her), massacre at the opening wasn't really necessary and flashbacks could be a bit longer in some cases because it all seems like this a bit messy (although they are really cute).

Despite this being a superhero movie, the characterization of the characters was really fantastic. Their development and relationship and how it all overlaps with their backgrounds and general ideologies. Personally, I liked Ratcatcher II the most because of its touching background and interesting way of thinking. Peacemaker was quite an interesting character who abruptly became a villain later, and his comeback in the end was quite interesting to watch even though let's be honest he was a bit predictable. The character of Idris Elba is similarly formulated as that of Will Smith from a few years ago and it's a clear middle finger to him, but let's be honest, Idris Elba is better because Will Smith as usually played Will Smith while Idris Elba got right into the character.

The film is extremely brutal as it fits for one The Suicide Squad, not the pretentious shame we got a few years ago.

Finally, this is THE Suicide Squad. This is a movie I laughed at, during which I was almost torn by a couple of heartbreaks, which softened me, but eventually awakened in me a glimmer of euphoria. The film is truly full of life and colors and I enjoyed every moment of it. The second best DCEU movie after also very new Zack Snyder's Justice League, franchise is getting better.

Synopsis: Not without flaws, but still extremely entertainming.

Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
Season 8, Episode 3
1/10
...and could have been Hardhome
2 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I'm a big fan of Game of Thrones and I think the first four seasons are untouchable, the fifth and sixth were still good, the seventh was too commercialized, but what happened in the eighth is really sad. The series became completely trivial and strongly declined the standard of quality of episodes. Here's my look back at this long awaited Game of Thrones episode The Long Night that broke all records of popularity.

The visuals of the episode were very likely flawless and the episode shamed some movies with its appearance, however, all this in vain when so many other things make absolutely no sense.

Why I'm so dissapointep with this awful piece of @#!/?

Let's see:

  • needless deaths (i'm particularly annoyed by Theon's death, I think it would have been good if he'd killed Night King to complete his redemption, but unfortunately the writers thought it wise for him to start running into Night King out of the blue expecting to kill him, a wasted character)

  • the whole battle is in the dark, I understand what they wanted to accomplish, but because of this I wouldn't understand what's going on so I could hardly regret some of the characters if they died

  • I don't understand who's killing who, similar to the problem with Beyond the Wall, only that episode was a lot better than this one after all

  • screenplay so bad I don't know if I'd laugh or cry

  • all the scenes with Night King were very grainy as if someone was magning them with a cell phone

  • I no longer feel like no one is safe, as in many blockbusters today, in Game of Thrones unfortunately all disbelief has become a lie. Robb, Catelyn and some of the other characters made mistakes and cried, but in this episode no one who made a mistake died but everyone got away with it, those characters who shouldn't have died like Jorah Mormont or Theon Greyjoy. I mean, why did Arya throw away that thing where there were zombies in the room

And for end, a synopsis: This episode is so long expected that it comes to me to cry when I see the final product, an episode that is completely unreasonable, a bad script and unexplained situations. This episode ruined eight years of building the world, character development, action, and loads of tension. This could have been Hardhome, The Spoils of War, Blackwater, Battle of B***ards or some other great battle episode but unfortunately, this is an overblown and outgrown battle that is unsightly. I just can't be enough of a wonder (in the bad way) how much the quality level has declined since The Winter is Coming.

The End of Innocence
27 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Given that the atmosphere of the Harry Potter films changed and became darker as the plot went on, after the third film it was clear to me that the fourth film should be even darker, and yes, this is a dark film (dark for Harry Potter standards, that this is Fincher's film of course I would say that it is not dark), but nevertheless to my great sadness it is devoid of all this gothicness that was plentiful in the third part of the film. We have these various events, plot twists, flashbacks, Voldemort's resurrection and oh, no, that boring competition. Well, if it wasn't for so many of the plot, I think the movie would have been considerably better, but then again, this movie is second best Harry Potter movie so far and the third best in the entire franchise.

Dark
22 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I liked the first two Harry Potter films very much, they were as cheerful and entertaining as their literary templates, and exactly when the novels got darker, so did the films, but in order to make it completely possible, the director had to change. So instead of Chris Columbs, the director became Alfonso Cuaráron, because Chris Columbs is objectively simply unable to adapt Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban. This HP film is therefore extremely dark, we have excellent time-back concepts and balancing these events that were subsequently done with what happened then. We also have Gary Oldman who embodied Sirius Black superbly. The film is mysterious and actually the colors of the film are much grayer and washed away than what we've seen before probably to match the tone of the film. Otherwise a great movie, significantly better than the first two as good as they are. But like the first two, worth watching.

Like the first, only formulated differently... and pretty longer
21 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I first saw the Harry Potter films on television during the seven-day marathon (Deathly Hallows I watched both films in one day) and after watching the first film (which was very good for me) I saw the second film and I could notice that it was the same director (as opposed to the third that was darker than the first two), the film was childish , innocent, naïve, as entertaining as it should be given that the literary template is the same. But unlike the first film the second is longer and has a more complex plot, the very path to Hogwarts is quite long, there are some books through which He Who Must Not Be Named communicates with Harry Potter, some depiction that kills cats and their blood writes some creepy words on the walls, a potion with which the main heroes turn into other people, a big spider that that lovable fool Hagrid breeds , some whiny spirit (I forgeted her name) who talks about a snake and again that snake that makes the children wonder and much more. As for other newcomers, there's also Dobby who's cute and likeable, but can be incredibly toxsic, especially when banging her head in the closet. By the quality of the film is there somewhere like the original, therefore, the level of entertainment is still very high, should be watched.

Magical
21 January 2021
I love Harry Potter movies, of course not like Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones, but I love them, they're fun. This was the first movie from that series and as far as I'm concerned, one of the best, everything was innocent, there wasn't a lot of Voldemorts who want to take over the world or some horcrux but just childish and naïve fun. For a lot of nostalgia, watch this movie.

The Best
16 January 2021
There are so many movies in this world, there are those long epics like Gone With the Wind, there are those complicated stunning visuals like Inception, but of all the movies of all kinds the best is the simplest, pure film, The Shawshank Redemption is proof that the film doesn't have to have a four-hour runntime, it doesn't have to have a long and epic battle scene, it doesn't have to have a big budget, it doesn't have to have a big gross, he doesn't have to win an Oscar or have to be too complicated to be the best. Somewhere the best rated films are Citizen Kane, The Wizard of Oz, Mean Streets, etc. But I don't think there's really any doubt which one is the best. This film is a wonderful story about hope and friendship in the worst parts of life, about the harms of prison on the further continuation of life and really some people should not be imprisoned.

For this movie rating is 20/10!

An incredible movie epic, a story of good and evil, of God and death, a film that made me cry, but also warmed my heart and made my day better
5 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Frank Darabont is one of my favorite film directors of all time, and The Shawshank Redemption (his film) is my favorite movie of all time. I went to see The Green Mile with truly enormous expectations and after watching it I think they were too small. It's been a while since that, and The Green Mile is still one of my favorite movies ever.

The Green Mile is simply an indescribable movie, but I'm going to do my best to try to illustrate my thoughts on this film. The Green Mile is primarily the wonderful story of prison guard Paul Edgecomb who meets inmate John Coffey who can relieve people of all ills, and under certain conditions death. Paul and his colleagues Brutus, Harry and Dean are increasingly certain that John didn't commit the crime he's accused of. Then there's Percy - and sadist who only got a job to take it out on prisoners blackmail and everyone else with his relationships, Bill - a maniac who actually made what John is accused of, Del - an prisoner who awaiting execution and many others. I'd say the trademark of this film is a little mouse, Mr. Jingles - who in the height of the supernatural and divine events of this film gets an abnormally long life just like Paul. This film is not afraid to touch on extremely serious topics.

A lot of three-hour movie epics (such as Titanic) came out It's the '90s, but The Green Mile is better than all of them.

The classic for all time.

Groundhog Day (1993)
8/10
3 simple reasons why I love Groundhog Day
27 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I have seen many unique films such as Fight Club, Inception and Matrix, Groundhog Day is one of these movies. In a 3 lines I will tell why this is a beautiful movie.

1. The idea of plot is phenomenal, a weatherman finds himself inexplicably living the same day over and over again. The way he treats this situation fascinates me. First he gets confused, then he gets nervous, then he decides to do anything because nothing will have consequences anyway, then he tries to kill himself, and after that he confides in his producer Rita, but always at 6:00 the same day starts again...

2. I was amazed by the last Groundhog Day in the cycle of repetition. Phil helped every person in town because he knew in advance who something bad was going to happen to. I particularly liked the scene where Phil plays the piano and where Rita "buys" he. The faces of these people in that scene are so happy and you can see exactly how much Phil has improved since first Groundhog Day.

3. Comedy - I wouldn't even comment on excellence because Bill Murray plays in this movie.

Must watch.

Tonight I saw this movie again, I burst into tears again
24 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Many often cites the best films of 1940s as Citizien Kane, Casablanca, The Great Dictator, etc. These are great movies, but It's a Wonderful Life surpasses them all unrivalled. It's a Wonderful Life is a truly great movie and I, like many others, have a habit of watching this movie very year on Christmas Eve, so I am this year. From where to start, this is from music, acting, screenplay, camera, directing, scenery, plot to adorable little details (squirrel on Uncle Billy's shoulder) the wonderful movie. The film tells the wonderful story about everyone beign worthy of existence and that the abscence of someone would make a big hole in the existence. I can't put into words this film and all its wonderfulness, but that's why I watch it and enjoy in this.

Inception (2010)

Such great idea, such great made, such great movie
7 November 2020
Inception... There was a lockdown, the cinemas closed, and wey then reopened after all this time, and Inception played again! I hurriedly went to cinema and... After the movie I was witha fork to the floor. This movies is hooked up like The Matrix, but this movie, Inception, is better. This is Nolan's best picture since The Dark Knight and best movie of last decade, sure.

The film is a visual bomb and extremely complicated and contains some kind of time loop (if that's what I think is), which is Nolan's obvious trademark, and the truth is, such specifical film could only bemade by him.

The film deals with some difficult topics that can cause any anxiety and is pure proof that movies can be both blockbusters and art simultaneuosly, however, this is the masterpiece.

What a movie
7 November 2020
This is the first Cohen brothers movie I've ever seen and it's such good. Absolutely funniest movie I've ever seen. From "Ich Bin Experte" to gorgeus ending this is completely hilarious movie. Jeff Bridges and John Goodman played their roles such well, they play losers and they're good at it, only Jeff Bridges plays a naive and lovable fool, but John Goodman plays a tottaly ******-up and hilarious fool who connets anithyng with Vietnam War that shouldn't.

Film has a somewhat loose structure (which is not bad thing in the case) and unsatisfactory ending, but it just proves how the film can also be entertainment and art.

For end, this is the masterpiece.
