The Visit (2015)
A solid horror-comedy with a cliché but surprising twist
Decided to watch it one day while looking for a horror movie on Netflix and don't regret it. It had it's cons, like the extremely cringe-worthy lines from Tyler, and the sort of cliché ending, but overall, it's a good movie and it genuinely creeped me out when I watched it.
The Emoji Movie (2017)
A beautiful steaming pile of feces that is the Emoji Movie
This movie made me realize that pigeons are flying lizard people with brain tumors in their stomach and feet on their nostrils.
(this movie is horrific, don't watch it if you don't want PTSD that can never be cured)
Dumb and Dumber (1994)
Could have been good but failed to.
For starters, I just want to say that I love nearly every movie that Jim Carrey is in. I loved Yes Man, Ace Ventura, and I could not love The Mask more even if I tried. This, this is just pure garbage. How in the world does this have a 7.3? I was genuinely falling asleep and I'm honestly suprised how people enjoyed this. Boring, sleazy, badly acted, and terrible are the 4 key words for this movie.
Minecraft (2009)
Amazing game that is a little bit worse than it used to be.
I can't describe how many hours of entertainment this game has brought me. I used to play this all the time on every console I have owned and I still play it to this day. It's just gotten worse when Microsoft bought it. I definitely still enjoy it and Microsoft has actually added some really good features, like servers on console, but some stuff has gotten only a little worse and it is still a very good game.
Ted 2 (2015)
Just- why does this exist.
I loved Ted. It was funny, satirical and such a fun movie. I bought Ted 2 one day and I didn't know that there was a sequel, so I was very excited. I went into it with high hopes, like I do with a lot of bad movies, and it was un BEAR able, (I'm sorry, I had to). It was a bad movie, honestly. A couple of the jokes were mildly funny, and the movie didn't make you bored, but most of the jokes and gags were just loathsome. Overall, I didn't like this movie, and I wouldn't recommend it.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 (2017)
How do people like this show?
This show is really bad, honestly. How do people get enjoyment out of this? The entire show is a crappy opening, and then the characters just sit down, watch a movie and make some of the WORST jokes I have ever heard in my life. I went in with high expectations because I have had a look at the trailer and it actually looked pretty good, so I watched it. I turned it off 20 minutes into the first episode because of how boring it was.
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020)
Ignore the good reviews, this movie is terrible
So, I watched this movie around 2 weeks ago, and I started it with high hopes. Being a big Will Ferrell fan, and seeing pretty good reviews on it, I watched. I regret it. I found this movie so bland and boring and barely any of the jokes hit. I honestly don't know how I managed to get though the entire movie. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because a couple of the jokes hit and the ones that did were actually quite funny, but there was barely any, and I honestly didn't like this movie.
The Queen's Corgi (2019)
Come on, it's not that bad.
What's there not to like? I get that there is a lot of adult jokes, but i've heard someone compare it to South Park, and that is just straight-up dumb. At least the movie is entertaining. I didn't have high hopes because I honestly don't think that Jack Whitehall is that good of an actor and it had very low reviews, but I liked it, and the jokes would go over most children's heads.
Instant Family (2018)
The best Mark Wahlberg movie i've ever seen
This movie is pure gold. It has amazing characters, amazing writing, amazing everything. One of my friends recommended this to me and i personally wasn't sure at the time. I found it on Netflix and not knowing that it was on there. As i said before, i didn't have high hopes for it due to me being more into the goofy side of comedy and not having looked at the reviews, so i watched this not knowing anything about it. I don't regret anything about watching. This movie delivers a smart, accurate and comedic approach to fostering and had me laughing the whole way through. I highly recommend this movie to anyone.
Freddy Got Fingered (2001)
How do people not like this movie?
I honestly don't get why so many people hate this movie. I will admit, it is gross, and i nearly threw up in the part where Gord helped a woman give birth, but that dosent instantly make it the most poorly-made and sleazy comedy ever, it's still funny. The thing is, with this movie, you don't have to take it seriously and analyze every single detail in the movie, you just need to relax and you will have guaranteed fun.
Zombieland: Double Tap (2019)
It dosen't deserve the hate it gets, but its not really good
I mean, its alright. The first film was definitely better than this, but what can you expect from a movie made 10 years after the first one? It has some funny jokes sprinkled over it, but the character Madison kind of ruins it and this movie would have definitely been better off without her. And most of the jokes were just reused from the first one, which i'm okay with, but it gets boring and it would have been better if they added more jokes in.
Ted (2012)
Ted Review
I like this movie. It's fun, satirical, and actually a very humorous watch to pass the time. You can tell right off the bat that the same creator of Family Guy made this movie, considering that it has the same kind of satire humor, and i particularly liked the Sam Jones cameo in the movie. Overall, it's a funny and amusing movie with many cameos and references,.
