One episode gave Sam and Bucky more development in 45 mins than in 6 movies

As of writing this there has only been 1 episode released, but I feel confident in saying that this show could very well be one of the best MCU projects ever!

The sheer fact that this one episode has made Sam and Bucky both feel like less of the sidekick character or the cool action character. We see a sophisticated story line with Bucky coming to terms with his past and Sams family.

I thought this show would be carried by its action but if the other 5 eps are anything like this, it will be completely character driven and purely amazing.

This will definitely be better than WandaVision...

This show was great until it wasn't...

Warning: Spoilers
Overall, I was very exited for this show and waiting week to week after cliff-hanger to cliff-hanger was extremely annoying yet incredibly fun. No matter what you thought of this show, you have to commend how interactive the shoemakers were with the fans even if they did mess it up by trolling us and poor damage control.

I thought the first 2 episodes were definitely the best, it was so stylistic and truly impressive to how these actors, directors, set designers and costumes designers had all fitted to the 50s and 60s sitcom style. It really is the MCU like we've never seen it.

But heres where my problem comes in, after episode 3 and going into episode 4 we see everything out of this sitcom reality, we had barely sunk our teeth into this mystery and solve a lot of our questions after not much set up. Then to end the series with a terrible CGI witch battle really wasn't the way to end a show that had such a unique beginning. To me, the last episode was the worst, it was just way to much of a departure from creative and distinctive sitcom style, I would have preferred more of a clever resolution like Doctor Strange, instead we a got a terribly edited and horrible looking MCU witch fight.

There are also countless inconsistencies that really bring it down for me; some episodes are 20 mins when others are 45 mins, some acting like Elizabeth Olsen is Emmy worthy, but then theres some acting that feels like it belongs in TV movie.

To me, this was just a fun and experimental departure from the overall Marvel Cinematic Universe, it has some amazing acting and great set design, but some awful dialogue and a very cliche and bad ending. Its very clear the show-makers were pressured into finishing this project, the only finished the finale 2 weeks before it released. As of writing this the Falcon and the Winter Solider has not finished, but I do think they should have released that first instead pushing WandaVision front and centre for all eyes to see. This show was originally meant to be fourth in Phase Four but because Disney needed some Marvel content released. If this was a musical you could say it got moved from the quirky first act song to the opening number.

This show is rather over-rated, but just because the theorising got out of control and a bad ending doesn't mean that this show still has an amazing couple episodes and some great scenes. The best thing to come out of this show in my opinion though is Elizabeth Olsens acting and the impeccable set design. 7/10

P.S: Why does this show have a budget of 25 Million, if this show cost that much then we should all be worried. How did the Finale look that bad with that big a budget?
