Corner Gas: The Littlest Yarbo (2005)
Season 3, Episode 5

A Lost German Shepherd
29 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Hank inquires at Corner Gas if anyone has seen the sunglasses he lost. No luck for Hank here.

While walking in town a German Shepherd barks at Hank and leads him away to his lost sunglasses. Could this be the Littlest Hobo? You remember the (TV) dog who used to help people with their troubles. Hank thinks so and tries to demonstrate his theory.

Hank faked being dizzy and falling in front of the "Foo Mart" to see if the dog will rescue him. Instead Davis performs CPR on Hank much to his chagrin. Hank doesn't give up throughout the episode.

A big part of the show revolves around coffee to go at The Ruby. I won't spoil too much here but Davis & Karen bring their gigantic coffee mugs to The Ruby for coffee. Lacey isn't impressed as it takes a pot of coffee to fill each mug.

It's hilarious when the coffee travel mugs Brent & Lacey order arrive. They put both business names on them to save money. Placement of the logos was in issue but they decided to put their business logos on the same side of the travel mugs. The logos on the mugs read "Corner G and The Rub". (That's about as "edgy" as Corner Gas would ever get).

An excellent episode from Season 3.

We've Been Expecting You
22 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Niles to Fran on the fateful day she rings the doorbell at Maxwell Sheffield's mansion. Of course Fran was selling cosmetics door to door, but unknown to her the Sheffield's were in need of a new nanny.

We see almost all of the principal characters in the pilot. (No grandma yet). This is the beginning of seeing Fran Drescher in some "far out" tight outfits. (It doesn't hurt as she looks great in them with that physique).

CC's character comes off as extremely unlikeable but Lauren plays it perfectly. As the series continues on you start to slightly warm up to her character as it's crucial to the comedic chaos. In fact, for me at least, my favorite part of the show is the friction between Niles & CC. (Chastity Claire).

Poor Fran gets fired twice in the episode.

An excellent pilot to a very funny series.

Who Is The Killer?
8 February 2022
No spoilers here. Easily one of the top episodes in the series. A very difficult situation for everyone involved. That will be enough to keep your eyes glued to the screen.

Very highly recommended.

It's The Good Old Hockey Game...

Stompin' Tom Connors said it best in The Hockey Song.

A very funny episode full of belly laughs. Without a doubt one of the top episodes from the series. To people like yours truly that were born in Canada, you know almost everyone had a table hockey game.

Excellent episode.

The Laptop....

No spoilers here but IMHO this is where Sam & Eddie started to click. There are some pretty funny moments and some potentially embarrassing scenarios for Sam.

Really good episode. Very entertaining.

Not sure why ABC cancelled this one so quickly.

Bart Leaps Over Springfield Gorge......Not Quite...
8 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Another classic episode. There are laughs from beginning to end in this gem.

Homer talking Bart out of jumping over Springfield Gorge is excellent.... ....but what happens after is worth the price of admission. The scene where a paramedics are on scene had me laughing until it hurt.

Recommended.

Was This Mouse Somebody Important???
4 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
One little mouse creates quite a bit of chaos.

Jack giving up his room as Janet is terrified of mice.......but he has an ulterior motif in trying to sleep in the girls room with Chrissy while Janet is in his room.

When Jack went upstairs to Larry's to pick up their coffee, Jack did not expect Larry to be entertaining a stunning blonde. Larry claimed to be a talent scout from MGM to get a date with a very attractive woman. Some excellent bits with Jack & Larry not being able to remember the name of Larry's date. (Diane).

Mr. Roper using the mouse to his advantage to keep his mother-in-law away from their apartment. At one point Mr Roper tells Larry, who killed the mouse, that if the mouse dies, I have to spend the weekend with an old bat. (His mother-in-law).

A very enjoyable episode.
