Heart Melter

When this movie came on, I was glued to the seat. It's one of those movies that you feel like you are right there and can identify with and feel for the characters. A movie that shows women independence and true love is one that you will need a tissue for, no doubt. 8 out of 10.

Uncanny
31 December 2003
This movie is a twist between Lord of the Rings and Warriors of Virtue. The concepts are similar, yet this movie has it's own uniqueness as well. I enjoyed it, though it seemed to not take its time toward the end. 7.8 out of 10.

Where'd Ya Get Those Peepers?
30 December 2003
My interest was actually kept during this movie. Because none of the actors were known, I was skeptical at first. Then, after I saw the movie, I liked it. The only thing that stunk was that they didn't play the 'Jeepers Creepers' song. 7 out of 10.

Intriguing
27 December 2003
This movie was quite intriguing and well put together. It had just the right amount of say in it, romance, love, and some betrayal. I was also pleased to see that Henry Thomas had a more committed and credited role versus other movies where he is a supporting actor who dies and/or has the woman he loves taken from him. I really enjoyed this movie. 8 out of 10.

Peter Pan (2003)
'I Do Believe In Fairies!'
25 December 2003
Peter Pan is one of my most favorite childhood stories about a boy who refuses to grow up. I always thought what a wonderful adventure it would be to be a kid forever, battle pirates, and dance with the Indians. This movie is full of fun, action, and even a little romance. Peter Pan will blow you out of the water! 8 out of 10.

OH MY GOD!!!!
17 December 2003
Now this is what I'm talking about! We need more movies like this, but first we need more writers like Tolkien, for without we would not have the story of the One Ring. This movie left me utterly speechless. The acting, the action, and the story will leave your heart pounding as it did I! 9.9 out of 10 for all three movies!

Willard (2003)

It was a bit "cheesy"
14 November 2003
Willard was a movie that took creepy to another limit, but I will admit it was a bit "cheesy." I felt bad for him of course, but controlling a rat army was a bit weird. I got into the movie though and was like, don't kill Socrates! But Ben was one bad-azz rat! If Socrates was like the Pikachu of the movie, then Ben was like the Hannibal. A lot of the parts were outragously funny, especially towards the end of the movie. It's cheesy, but worth taking a look at and Crispin Glover was awesome! 7 out of 10.

Awesome
11 November 2003
Warning: Spoilers
*Potential Spoilers* I will admit that the second one isn't as good as the first, but it is by all means, better than the third installment! It has the Matrix feel, romance, humor, action, and a good story. The best part in the movie by far, is the fight scene with Morpheus, Trinity, and the evil albino twins! They should have brought the twins to the third movie, then the movie wouldn't have been a total drag... All in all, I give Matrix: Revolutions 8 out of 10, Matrix 8.3 out of 10, and Matrix: Revolutions 4 out of 10 (for the effort.)

Why, God, why?!!!
5 November 2003
What in God's name were they thinking?! I was so excited to see the conclusion to this trilogy, and was, of course, let down. The first two Matrix movies were awesome, but this one took had a brick tied to it when it plummeted off the deep end. There were very (and I mean very) few moments when my interest was kept, but otherwise I found myself catching some winks in my seat. Also, Revolutions didn't seem like a Matrix movie (it didn't have the feel). They should have brought the evil twins back or something to help this movie. In conclusion, watch the first two, and skip the third. 4.5 out of 10.

The Sight (2000 TV Movie)
Very insightful
16 September 2003
Andrew McCarthy stars in a fabulous portrayal of a man who can communicate with the dead. I thought that this movie had a good plot, good actors, and had an unsuspectful ending. I also like the whole "stairway to heaven" literally that was shown. Excellent. 8 out of 10.

Taxi Driver (1976)
Supreme
9 September 2003
Warning: Spoilers
*Potential spoilers* Taxi Driver starring the young, hunky Robert DiNiro and Jodie Foster is a supreme classic. The movie could be so real it is almost surreal. You can identify with DiNiro and know where he's coming from. Everything looks real it's scary. And with his famous line "...You talking to me..." DiNiro delivers an unforgettable in Taxi Driver! 8.8 out of 10.

One great movie
7 September 2003
This movie is one of the most fun movies of all time! I absolutely loved this movie as a child, and my children and grandchildren will love it in the future! Who wouldn't want to be in a world of 'pure imagination' and candy? Gene Wilder delivers an unforgettable performance as Willy Wonka! 8 out of 10.

Family Fun
30 August 2003
Originality and family fun are two characteristics of this movie. I personally think Honey, I Shrunk the Kids is better than the sequels, and its fun. You have adventure, drama, comedy, and even a little bit of romance. All the kids I know love this movie, because in what other movies can you see bucking ants, giant oatmeal creme pies, bunking legos, and your worst nightmare- a lawnmower. Lots of fun. 8 out of 10.

Slightly boring
27 August 2003
This movie was a little confusing, a little slow, and a little boring. Yes, I did get the story, but when all ends met, I was still a little lost. The most reason why I continued to watch Days in Heaven was to watch the hunky Richard Gere (who is so mush more handsome the Sam Shepard), and to see the beautiful cinematography, which was breathtaking. All in all, I thought the movie was ok. 7 out of 10.

Dirty Dancing (I) (1987)
Even I liked it!
26 August 2003
When I say "Even I like it", that's saying alot. I am not the type usually, for these types of movies, but I thought Dirty Dancing was a fun, energetic movie. The acting was believable and decent, but the plot was a little flimsy. And the funny part about Swayze and Grey as the lead lovers is that in real life, they could not stand one another! 7.9 out of 10.

Rock-A-Doodle (1991)
Fair, but not a true winner
23 August 2003
Rock-A-Doodle could have been something more, something better than what it was since it was done by Don Bluth, the man who also did The Land Before Time and All Dogs Go To Heaven. I mean, this cartoon is ok, and the music is kind of fun, but other than that, the movie kinda sucks and it is just for little kids to keep them occupied for a while. 5.5 out of 10.

Good
23 August 2003
I actually really liked this movie. It has an all-star cast (Gene Hackman, Red Buttons, Shelley Winters), who deliver great performances, and has really good special effects for their day. The only thing I kept saying about Red Buttons character through the most of the movie was "Leave Nonnie! She is a wussy wench and is slowing all of you down!" Cuz every time they moved onto a new obstacle, she was a coward. Anyway, this movie, in my opinion, deserves 7.8 out of 10.

Clockwork Orange is a very strange, intriguing, and original film based off of a semi-famous novel. Starring Malcolm McDowell as the crazed Alex, he delivers a great performance that draws you into another dimension of freaky cool. 8.7 out of 10!

This movie was kinda slow-moving, but it had backbone. It tells a decent story and has Joaquin Phoenix in it, what more could you ask for in this movie? 7.7 out of 10.

Bad-Azz
15 August 2003
Though I will admit that this movie was freakin' bad-azz, it also proves that neither Jason nor Freddy will ever be gone. In my opinion, though I will never get sick of these horror flicks, Freddy, Jason, and all of the other "boogymen" that have more than 2 sequels to their movies should be put to eternal sleep, and new ones should be created. 7 out of 10.

Rose Red (2002)
Meets Standards..
15 August 2003
Warning: Spoilers
*Potential Spoilers* Rose Red, based on the novel by Stephen King, is a creepy haunted house story where not only is the house haunted, it is actually alive and will eat you! Good acting done by Nancy Travis, Kimberly J. Brown, and Julian Sands brings an old ghost tale up-to-date in this amusing movie. 7.8 out of 10.

The Shining (1980)
Classic Modern Horror
10 August 2003
The Shining is a classic modern horror compared to the Alfred Hitchcock movies. Jack Nicholson is a genius madman in The Shining. This movie by far is one of Stanley Kubrick's best as it comes into my top 5 horror flicks of all time! Simple and scary! 8.3 out of 10.
