This movie takes place 20 years after the accident happened, but somehow involves the children of some of the original play's cast, who are redoing the play in their High school. The numbers do not add up. If this is supposed to be some kind of revenge movie, if fails. If it's trying to be a ghost story, it fails. What fails most is actors that look in their thirties portraying school kids. Pretty much all of the movie is seen through one camera lens or another. The girls can't seem to control their emotions, so most of their time is spent being noisy, whiny damsels in distress. Doors mysteriously lock and unlock to keep certain characters on one side or the other. If the main boy was supposed to be the son of the actor that did not show up that night, then why didn't his father ever tell him that he flaked that night. This movie pretty much makes no sense because apart from knowing that someone died in the original play at the school, nothing is properly explained to make a cohesive story line. Not even worth a watch on free cable.

Apparently the makers of this movie did no research on what a hostel is, nor did they watch the first two Hostel movies. The whole idea of the movies is that there is a hostel where foreigners share a space for a low price. The object of the club is to pay to kill someone in a manner of your choice. This movie took place in Las Vegas and there were actually only two people that stayed at the "hostel." Also, the victims were well separated, not kept in cells facing one another. Not even really secure cells, thee doors were metal pipes covered with hurricane fencing. As an avid horror movie watcher, I was able to predict each of their plot "twists" long before they came. At the end of the movie, the fiancé has an urn that is supposed to contain the remains of her beloved that went to Vegas to celebrate his final days as a single man. As an unmarried couple, she would not have a right to his remains. I know it sounds trivial, but by the end of this predictable, non-horrific movie, it was just the kind of annoyance that put me over the edge and made me hate the movie. The writers also overlooked what might actually kill someone, healing time of wounds and how the club and murder scene tied in as one place. Poor script...after all but 2 of the known captives are killed... "Kill the prisoners! Kill ALL of them!"

When will movie makers learn to end their movie when it makes sense and leaves the audience happy? This movie had the most disappointing ending I have ever seen and I regret having bothered with i. The premise of this movie is repossessing organs. As we can guess from the commercials, Jude Law's character ends up as the recipient of an organ. This is where all other flaws in the movie start and continue through to the end of the movie. It is through the company he works for that the heart is require, he did not want the organ, he did not want to continue in the business, he loses his wife because of his job and his partner, who could help him with his quota refuses to. There were many poor similarities in this movie to Repo! The Genetic Opera. From a drugged addled singer to the ruthless repossession of organs. There were too many flaws in this movie to mention. If you want to see a good repo movie, stick with the Genetic Opera. You get a good story line, music and the brilliance of Darren Lynn Bousman. I give this movie two thumbs way down.

This movie was a great mix of comedy and zombie. In this movie, the story comes down to a feud between two Irish men. One wants to "kill" all of the dead while the other is out to prove that the zombies can be trained to find a food source other than humans. Seamus corals the living dead and puts them in horse stalls to contain them and uses different animals to try to tempt the zombie palate. Seamus decides that his rival's daughter will be the zombie that shows the others that there is something other than their own kind to eat. With a force of some military types beside him, O'Shea sets out to kill Seamus and all Seamus wants is recognition that he may be onto something with his alternative food idea. Irishmen being Irishmen, neither man will concede. In the end, the survivors are left wondering and we find out the answer to that question.

While trying to do good for his people, a priest undergoes an experimental testing to cure a disease. Unlike others, he survives the testing but ends up with blisters all over. He keeps his face covered and goes back to trying to do good works. By accident he discovers that the drinking of blood cures his defect. He becomes friends with a dysfunctional family with an alcoholic mother, a daughter-in-law that is started as a daughter, used like a slaved and then married to the son to satisfy his pleasures and a son that is immature and unbearable. The priest and the girl begin a romantic relationship which leads to the demise of the husband and ultimately the mother. The newly change girl has more of a blood lust than the priest and he eventually realizes the monster he has created and sets out to rectify the matter. There is a lot of insanity that goes on in this movie. It was very lengthy, but for the most part interesting.

In this movie, some athletes are in Russia competing and the night before they are to go to their next destination, they are confined to their rooms. Young free-spirited adults being what they are, some of them sneak out. When they try to make their way back to their hotel, they get lost. when they arrive, they find their coach waiting for them and find they have missed their train. At the train station no one working there seems to understand English, so another passenger aids the group and gets them on the same train she is taking as it is going to the same destination. Once on board, we discover that these Americans are marked as victims for an organ harvesting scheme. They are systematically kidnapped and taken to another train car where the needed organs are removed. None of the people being operated on are slated to survive. The transplants take place on the train and during a stop to move the new recipients to a hospital type facility, a couple of the intended victims escape. The perpetrators try to find them, blah, blah, blah. The ending was poorly done as it left us without a proper explanation as to how the survivor makes it and goes on to another competition.

This is a movie we have seen before just written in different ways. A girl is suspected of being abused and the case worker takes a very personal interest in her. When the parents are removed from the situation, the girl begs for the love of the social worker, which she gets. Renee Zellweger does a decent job in this movie. I would not call it a horror movie. It is suspenseful, but nothing I thought was overly horrific. The little girl does a brilliant job playing the victim. Predictable, the social worker takes this child into her home pending placement elsewhere and finds that this little girl is not quite what she seems. She seeks out different methods to deal with the problem, but it ultimately ends up just like I thought it would. Not the worst movie ever made.
