Hit or miss as usual... And this one missed... Badly... Garrett Hedlund and Victoria Justice seem to deliver when an appropriate script and good directing is able to bring out their talents. This one, however, was simply just overall horrendous. I mean, nothing about any of it was convincing in any way shape or form. I don't even know if we're supposed to believe the lens of Hedlund's character from the beginning. Did Jackson actually beat himself up? Or were the bruises actually from what he accused Ethan of doing, and it was just all delusion on Ethan's behalf? And even if this aspect of the movie is supposed to keep the watcher wondering about the script's ambiguity, by the end who cares because it's a terrible reveal anyway. I would never "discourage" anyone from watching a movie simply because one can even learn what genres they dislike from watching something they did not enjoy. This one, however, I believe many watchers will consider a complete waste of their time by its' conclusion.

Although this series kept me entertained throughout its' entirety, the plot holes were just too much to make it anything close to realistic. The juxtapositions that continue to take place are enough to keep an avid watcher's mind engaged, however, the writers try far too hard to incorporate too many twists. Also, the daughter simply being abandoned at the end is just extra drama to a story with far too much convolution. I happen to be very close friends with 4 different sets of identical twins, so there was added interest for me, which is probably why I did not give this a lower rating. Michelle Monaghan has delivered far better performances, however the supporting cast I thought delivered enough on their roles to bring the script somewhat to life. Watch in your spare time, but not if you do not like an unrealistic plot trying to be passed off as a real life drama.

You wonder how the same individual can search through history for stories, cast some of the best actors on the planet for these stories, and twist the ending into something so delightfully sublime that you forget what actually happened and how large of an atrocity is being replicated for the audience. Quentin does it again with this one. From the first word of the script until the end, this one will engage any fan of Tarantino's and have them salivating to see what the ending brings for each character. Al Pacino might have had the weakest acting in this movie, which is just astonishing; however, it seems as though it is all a part of Quentin's master plan to keep his audience guessing what might be coming for and from his characters throughout the entire film. Keep em coming... Because everyone is watching...
