... and he did a great job, but the character just lacked that something, that "charm" that came with Patrick Swayze. This version just focused on fighting, whereas the original focused on relationships, justice and the underdog winning out. I hope no one thought this would go without being compared to the original. It's unfortunate. I couldn't really connect with the characters in that little, endearing way that you could with the original cast. Here you're just waiting for the next fight to break out.
Sometimes it's just not necessary for a remake. The mullet-clad Patrick Swayze should stand alone.
