... and he did a great job, but the character just lacked that something, that "charm" that came with Patrick Swayze. This version just focused on fighting, whereas the original focused on relationships, justice and the underdog winning out. I hope no one thought this would go without being compared to the original. It's unfortunate. I couldn't really connect with the characters in that little, endearing way that you could with the original cast. Here you're just waiting for the next fight to break out.

Sometimes it's just not necessary for a remake. The mullet-clad Patrick Swayze should stand alone.

We've seen this story before - same story, new cast. Worth one watch if you must. I saw it for $6.99 so I did not feel robbed. But I think it was over rated for such a predictable story.

I am still trying to figure out what about Paul Giamatti's performance catapulted him to Oscar worthy status on this one. I think the other characters were much more interesting and complex.

The ending was touching but I do not think the viewer should have to wait until the end of the movie to get some satisfaction, especially if you are pretty certain how this is going to end. All and all kind of a waste of time.

This movie is ok, but I could see how it leaves the viewer wanting. It doesn't go into any real depth on any level. Virginia Hall, an American from Baltimore, was one of the most effective spies working for the British during WWII. The book is chock full of amazing things she did for the French and the war effort as a whole, all the while having to over-prove herself among less qualified men ranked above her. An amazing story about an amazing woman who outwitted the Nazis.

Another movie is supposed to be in the works with the same title as the book, but that seems to have been shelved because of the pandemic (or other reasons). I hope that film gets back on track and more closely follows the book.

Aside from the interview with the verbally minimalist Justice Breyer, I learned absolutely nothing from any of the other interviews. These are soft ball, non-deep dive interviews and you can find the same information on IMDB or just about anywhere. Is this just a CNN filler show? The excessive commercials were more informative. I think they need to start looking for another Sunday evening option to prop up their ratings because this is Entertainment Tonight-level programming at best. I thought that Chris Wallace was more of a heavy hitter. If he's at CNN for a new, less demanding chapter of his life (which I think he is) this will not help CNN in the least. I will not be watching again.

Has this been canceled yet? Geez, I hope so. This was such an awful idea. At that hour of the night if I want cartoonish, I'll watch Family Guy. Please make this show go away.

The cinematography is wonderful, but I fail to see the attraction of the ordinary story. And the gawd awful, relentless mind-numbing music makes it almost unwatchable.

...once or twice. But who cast James Franco in this movie? Seriously. Love everyone, all my favorites are in this, but Franco must have been a "favor" or "you owe me one" casting move. I just never can take him serious.

...but pretty funny, I have to admit. I guess I like time travel. I liked the 2013 series Sleepy Hollow for the same reason. These can be pretty clever if done right.

Florence and Normandy!

Kudos to everyone involved, not just the actors. Very realistic, edge of your seat episodes, and great character backgrounds and life stories. I'm hooked.

...and it's still going nowhere. What is supposed to be happening? All I've come to realize is this family is made up of very annoying people that I don't and never will like.

...but it turned out to be "nothing to see here". What a bore. Neither film version lived up to the book. Let sleeping dogs lie. How does a film like this get nominated for a best picture Oscar. How far we have fallen.

...who had a Miami Vice flashback? Oh that Daytona. I really love this show which I just discovered. Love the cast and pretty good stories. Did I reach my 150 characters yet?

I was 15 in 1973 and now I know why I chose to block it out. This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Who thought this was Oscar worthy and why, for God's sake.

...but I'm not going to give up just yet. Maybe I've watched too many old episodes. I admit, a LOT of old episodes so it's hard to connect with new characters. I waited for the "bombshell evidence", which is always fun, but a little all-to-convenient one showed up.

Seasoned actors who suddenly became amateurs. They brought down what little credibility this film may have had. Same nonsense, different movie. Should I take a shot at guessing what happens at the end? It'll be tough but I can try.

Same story, different couple. Why do these actresses load up on Botox before filming? It's almost a distraction. I guess I will answer my own next question..."Why don't these movies feature match making with older couples?" Since they make the young couples Botox-up, I'm guessing never.

Great action scenes and of course there's "the Aston Martin", but I came away disappointed. I felt that all the characters, other than Daniel Craig, were just lackluster. I never liked the loss of Judy Dench or her replacement, Ralph Fiennes. I love Ralph, but he always seems to just phone it in. And to me, the "Bond Villains", who are almost as important as Bond himself, are not likable...you have to love to hate the villains. Since Mads Mikkelsen, I haven't loved to hate the villains. I hope that the next Bond, who should be male as Ian Flemming intended, gets the original Craig grit back, and finds a cast, including a good old fashioned Bond Girl, that recaptures my love of the franchise.

The score for this movie makes this film almost unbearable to sit thru. Hammer went way too 70's. Other than that, gotta always love Chris and Pete for a final show down.

In our attention-deficit.society, this was way too long and this story could have been told in half the time.

The camera person needs to spend less time on the host and more time actually filming the food and the cooking/preparing process.

Where the mindless go for fart jokes. I guess someone has to watch this show.

...but faces in windows and bumps in the dark. How boring.

This unbearable talk fest doesn't even deserve a review.

....but I don't know what the heck is going on. I'll give it a few more episodes with something better happen!
