I was SUPER sceptical going into this. I loved the graphic novel and loved the movie. I also hated Lost, so to say I was warey is an understatement. Tell a story and have an ending in mind. This show really tells a whole story and it's great. The twist and turns are wonderful. You spend days thinking about every single episode. If you're on the fence like I was, I'd recommend taking the plunge.

First of all, Applegate & Cardellini are just astounding. Their performances are beyond phenomenal. Obviously both Hollywood veterans and it really shows here. Their chemistry from the very start is what makes this show special. This is definitely the best thing Marsden has done since that taco bell commercial (mmm nacho fries). The writing is amazing, the character development is top notch. Liz Feldman knocked this out of the park and I will absolutely tune in to whatever she does next. After season 2 of Dead to Me of course.

I would watch one episode a night and the entire next day I would think about that episode. Everything I just saw and what it meant and what would happen next. I felt like one of the boys returning to the house every night to hear this wonderful story. Obviously there are lots of good shows out there, but for me, never has the storytelling been this good. The writing with the narration from Marling was so basic and yet so engrossing. The dance/movements that came about in the 5th episode were at first a little strange and laughable. But, as I watched and learned what it meant to them it became quite beautiful. This isn't the show that's going to give you every answer and put a little bow on it's ending. I thought it did a great job in ending the story but leaving you to make your own conclusions. Definitely a show that sticks with you.

I have never written a review for any movie, but after watching this garbage I feel obligated to prevent others from completely wasting 99 minutes of their lives. Immediately this movie turned me off. The lead actress is one of the most annoying human beings I've ever seen. The entire movie she was dumb, annoyingly worried for no reason and had no reasoning to her emotional reactions. As far as the plot of the movie.... maybe the writers just didn't really care about it making any sense whatsoever... maybe they rushed it without actually thinking about it... or maybe they're just stupid... whatever the case, AWFUL! When I saw the trailer I actually thought it had the potential to really do something semi original, but that was not the case. It was sloppily written with all kinds of plot holes, horribly acted and all around a completely annoying waste of time.
