Where is realism when you need it?

Unfortunately, the action sequences aren't much better than the stupid plots.

My understanding of a SWAT Team would be, they support the detectives when some firepower is needed, for example storm a hideout, seal off a hostage situation and so on.

Contrary to that understanding, this SWAT Team does (most of) the detective work, interrogations - even at the hospital beds - and so forth.....

Now, I might be wrong here, but I don't think so (Adrian Monk)
