While promoting her last best-seller of horror in a library, Emma Larsimon announces that her lead character, the witch Marianne, died and now she will write about other subjects. Marianne is based on nightmares she has had since she was a child. While autographing her books, her school friend Caroline "Carol" Daugeron tells her that her mother is so obsessed by Marianne that she believes she is Marianne. She also shows her the charm her mother has made of human flesh and teeth and asks Emma to visit her. The disturbed Emma asks her assistant Camile to go to a bar to drink with her. Emma misses the schedule with her boyfriend Pierre, and he leaves her. On the next morning, Caroline goes to Emma's office and hangs herself, saying that Emma's parents will be the next chased by her mother. Emma and Camile head to the house of Emma's parents and soon they are scared by Mrs. Daugeron and Emma's nightmares.
"Tu les rêves" is the first episode of "Marianne" with a creepy beginning. French horror movies and series are one of the best in the world and the first episode of Marianne is no exception. The plot is scary, and the viewer will startle many times. It is difficult to review a series on the first episode, but the beginning of "Marianne" seems to be scary. My vote is eight.

The fisherman Tony finds the corpse of Chief Burleson floating on the sea. The new Chief of Police, Jan Remy, notifies Provincetown Council that there is a serial-killer in the town, and they give a flawed explanation to her. She tells them that they are hiding something, but she will investigate the murders. Holden Vaughn meets with The Chemist, Belle Noir and Austin Sommers to say the problem they have. Harry has written five years of material and tells Alma and Ursula that they will stop using the Muse, and Alma complains about his decision, saying that he is selfish. On the next day, Harry discovers that baby Eli is missing, and Belle Noir left a note in his cradle, asking him to go with Alma to The Chemist's house. He concludes that she wants to kill them. Ursula declines to go but plots a plan. She goes to the cemetery and convinces the Pales that will give them the cure if they kill the artists. Meanwhile, Harry and Alma go to The Chemist´s house and Belle wants to kill them. However, the Pales attack them, and Ursula shoots the Pales. At the end of the massacre, Alma kills Harry by biting his neck and drinking his blood. The Chemist, Ursula, Alma and Eli head to Los Angeles and three months later, there is a zombie apocalypse in the city.
The first five episodes of the Tenth Season of "American Horror Story" are very reasonable: however, "Winter Kills" is one of the worst episodes of AHS. The plot practically ends and now the viewer must bear the awful Leslie Grossman with her mouth and ugly face leading the show. The trio of survivors - Ursula, Alma and The Chemist - are the worst characters of this season and now we need to support four more episodes with them to conclude a season that finished in this episode. My vote is three.

Title (Brazil): "Winter Kills"
In New York, on the Christmas Eve, L. A. Detective Aldo Hines (Hector Elizondo) arrests the serial killer Ryan Weaver (Ray Liotta), who dates beautiful and intelligent women before killing them. Ryan claims that the evidence was planted by Det. Hines. He is transferred with the criminal Stubbs (Brendan Gleeson) on the commercial flight 747 to Los Angeles, escorted by four Marshalls. The flight has only a few passengers. Meanwhile, flight attendant Teri Halloran (Lauren Holly) is vulnerable since she has been just dumped by her fiancé. When she sees the charming Ryan on the flight, he flirts with her. When Stubbs asks to go to the toilet, he kills the two Marshall that escort him and there is a shootout on board. The pilot and the four Marshalls are murdered by Stubbs and Stubbs is killed by Ryan. Meanwhile, the plane crosses a turbulence and the co-pilot dies. Now Teri is responsible for crossing a storm and bringing the airplane to the L. A. airport, while she is hunted down by Ryan.
"Turbulence" (1997) is a brainless, but highly entertaining action movie. Ray Liotta is tailored for the role of Ryan Weaver since he may be both handsome and creepy. In the beginning, the viewer questions whether he is guilty or not for the murders. But later, his mask falls, and the audience sees who he is. Teri Halloran is a stupid character that always makes the worst decisions. The airplane is indestructible, hitting buildings, cars and remaining in the air without any damage and a briefcase closing an opening in the hull. My vote is seven.
