Rosie's Rules (2022–2024)
10/10
Absolutely supertastical
9 October 2022
My daughter loves this show. She watched 2 whole episodes back to back and I knew we had a new household favorite on our hands. I love that she quotes Rosie now with her cute words and Spanish. She even has flop moments to take a breath. It is showing it's ok to take a second to think and figure things out without reacting. Just awesome!! Love the blended family and all the characters. Great catchphrases and good messages in each episodes. Current favorite episode is the Movie Night. My child learned about trading and a couple words in Spanish. Hope this show stays around. It's wholesome and truly adorable. Thank you again PBS.

My lo loves this show

Lots of cute critters, a spunky silly lead character and the most adorable singing peepers. I've seen the other reviews that knocked the show. Let's keep in mind this is a kids cartoon not PBS. Not everything has to have a lesson or be educatIonal (hello reality tv). This is a cute colorful fun show for kids and it is about friendship and being a good helper. If you want something non threatening and adorable for your kids this is it. I myself am not a big fan but my almost 3 y/o is over the moon for this and that's why I am Writing the review. 2 year old approved.

Miss Persona (2018– )

Adorable

Miss Persona is adorable and fun. Her style is gorgeous and thank you for introducing my lo to steampunk. Wow. My child fell in love instantly today with this mini show. We catch this on a Children's app on our roku but I knew I could also find on YouTube. Main theme: play. She sings, pretends, plays dress up ... all the things my toddler does. But at the end of every show she reminds kids to play. Which is the best educational tool for pre schoolers. Highly recommend if you love fun and encourage your child to use their imagination.

Warning: Spoilers
Loved these sisters together. My sister and I are 7 years apart as well and we watched these together. This was the better movie of the two but I think it's because that's where I am in life. Married with a family and my parents are gone so the storyline with the uncle being missed hit a note. I'd definitely watch more of these movies. The cast felt like they were a family and the movie was just so sincere.

A Dickens of a Holiday! (2021 TV Movie)

A hallmark hit

Warning: Spoilers
Not just a sweet story but a real story. Kristoffer. Polaha was fantastic and it was a different role for him at least for us to watch. Usually he's such a likeable character but he nailed Hollywood jerk very well. And Brooke was amazing and so sweet. It's a movie about love, crushes, family, Dickens, small towns and friendship. My husband that usually picks on these movies watched the whole thing with me without complaint lol. DVR it and check it out.

Exactly what we need right now

To hear the original John Boy narrate this sweet story brought me back to my childhood. This version was just as wonderful as the show was. The end made me cry. I hope they make this into a show. We would watch every week. Excellent cast. Bellamy Young was fantastic. If you get a chance to watch this it will warm your heart.

Extraordinary Emotional Entertaining Excellent

One of the best shows I've watched on Netflix or anywhere. As an avid reader I'm embarrassed to admit I've never read the books growing up nor was I familiar with the premise. An author I follow online was in love with this adaptation and 1 afternoon I checked it out. My husband came home while I was watching and well we were both hooked. It was personal... after an 8 journey we just completed an adoption. Needless to say I cried at least once EVERY single episode. My husband did not lol. But he did get pretty ticked off at the early episodes by the treatment of the precious Anne. If you enjoy period dramas, dramas, romance and have a vivid imagination you'll love this. If you pour your heart into any book, show, movie you enjoy... grab a BOX of tissues. Highly recommend!! There is more to Anne's story, the show was cruelly cancelled, so I plan on reading the books.

My daughter absolutely loves this one and the music ( I don't care for the music) Bottom line the story is cute with a great message! My lo watched this as many times as it aired on our cable network so I'd say we saw this about 30 times during Halloween season. If you have a child under 3 I bet they'll really enjoy the cartoon.

My daughter absolutely loves this. We've watched this about 15 times already ... this weekend. The songs are cute and it's a sweet message. And she sings along with the music and dances so I approve of this interactive tv experience. If you have a child under 3 I bet they'll enjoy the adorable colorful kittens!!

Top 5 list Christmas movies
26 August 2020
I knew I'd like this one but I didn't think I'd fall in love with this one. It's beautifully done so full of love, hope and laughs. This IS a Christmas movie and it has all the things us Christmas movie lovers want in a movie. + an amazing soundtrack. The perfect package ... no the perfect gift. Open your heart, get some cocoa (or fermented cabbage if that's your thing) and watch this movie. You'll laugh, you'll sigh, you'll sing and well I hope this isn't a spoiler but you'll cry.
