First of all, it's not Peter Cushing narrating, i've read that even at Hammer they don't know who did the Job but it was not Mr. Cushing. All Hammer films are made with very limited budgets, but this one was clearly one from the bottom range. Most of the time the atmosphere holds up the movie but because of the bad sets this was lost to. The desert doesn't look real, it was so bad that it was distracting , they where just stumbling in a pile of yellow sand. The story was OK for a Mummy movie, but the mummy looked more funny then scary and that took away the whole fun of these kind of films. The acting was not bad, the leader of the expedition was real good and his assistant and wife did a nice job to.
For a Hammer film it was below average, the first one simply called 'the Mummy' was a fantastic film with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee, I can recommend that one...skip this lame version!!!

Is He the Michael Palin of Dutch Television or maybe even more? I think He was much more. He put his travel shows on a higher and personal level. Is it a program about Islands or the Dodo or was it about Boudewijn Büch Himself. He found a unique combination to put his almost childish obsessions next to sometimes bleak information. He made the most absurd item so entertaining that You just cannot stop watching. He was one of a kind in Holland and i Miss his programs, i now have these chopped up DVD's...they edited the show into bits and peaces, but anyhow, there are 3 boxes with 3 DVD 's each and enough to travel with Boudewijn for a long time....
