I wanted to like it. But it was so boring, uninteresting, cliché, lazy script, a festival of VFX and out of place slow mo. An amalgamation of stories and characters, mythology that don't stick together at all.

All characters are plain and you don't care at all about them. The fact that the best part of the movie is the robot that is only 5 minutes in screen says a lot.

I can't believe I am saying this but it is worse than SW 9 the Return of Palpatine. And that's a very low bar.

Definitely this is a movie that looks like it was written by a 12 years old stealing ideas from several sci fi and fantasy he saw.

So disappointed in Snyder.

Absolutely bland, boring, clichéd, poorly acted hogwash, generic story, botched special effects, a convulsion of fart CGI, and ridiculous action scenes, not to mention the idiocy of the idea of powers from bats.

I slept through half the movie and had to watch it in 3 more chunks afterward to finish it.

A disgust

As always, Jaret Leto is nothing more than a cute publicity girls herder, a narcissistic egomaniac with the delusions of a great artist who is worse than Bruce Willis when he doesn't feel like it.

Don't pay attention to those haters there. Is an excellent concept of religious cults and rise of authoritarianism in a fantasy fiction with a humanist view.

Each episode gets better and better. After the second you'll want to watch all episodes and the final is amazing.

A grim drama so full of itself that screams to be forgotten.

Seriously, is boring, extremely boring, you don't care about any character. Is all centered in the sadness and depression of the characters, interpersonal drama. Is a chiclé boring drama disguised as science fiction that presents itself as a "smart" existential questioning and philosophic. But it has nothing of science fiction more than a few seconds per episode of common CGI nada copied scenes.

But it does it repeating hundreds of other shows and movies about it, in a very boring way that makes you crave for each episode to end ASAP. In fact I watched it sped x1.5.

They use that grim sounds to depress you more attempting to cling in productions like "Interstellar" copying their background sound work.

It's a very shallow pretentious show that doesn't do anything it attempts and it spits in your face demanding to be recognized as a master piece of art it will never be.

The main review here is too harsh. The movie does have a poor general acting, still better than lots of movies (there is known actors here), the idea of the movie is good. It is interesting enough to watch it, the time pass fast so that means your are entertained. The end is well done.

The effects are not really that bad and I think that more than lack of funds it has actually a deliberated artistic stile. It might be more presumptuous that bad effects.

I enjoyed it and I don't tolerate bad acting and scripts, so is not that bad.

This is an actual true history with an awesome performance from the actor, a very realistic depiction of the situation of that time Russia. Image, FX, acting, historic accuracy, scenarios, guns, uniforms, all to the perfect reproduction. The story is amazing and it will make you care about the people on it, you will really suffer with their death in the horror of the trench and open field charges of WWI. You will follow the formation of a female battalion in the awakening of the soviet revolution. Created to encourage the Russian men in the front who were refusing to fight after years of dying and fail to push the Germans back, in a war they didn't care for a ruthless dictator that was the zar. The women were there for idealism or revenge for the loss of their loved ones. They went, and fought proving themselves truly warriors inspiring other women to fight for their land and people, not the rulers. With this scenario, you will find that with all the reason the men had to not fight, here, they look like a bunch of cowards and more girls than the girls of the story.

Piece of art, a truly one. The kind of war movies i like.

Recommended, not a second of waste.

Deeply touching story, amazing acting, excellent FX and war recreations. The most important is the human perspective, the individuals outside the wrong or right of the history books. You will cry seeing this movie, and its fine. I do not agree with other reviewer about being a movie to "justify" Japan. Is a movie about persons, their lives and struggles in the most horrible point of human history and human nature. I took this movie, as many other war movies, as a message to the people so they understand this is the horror of war and how it affects people like you, this would happen to you or your people, this is what happened, happens and will happen. Outside the big story of battles, strategy, the macro history, the little stories of the persons, no matters which side. I'll save this movie next to Letters from Iwo Jima and Ünsere Mutter, Ünsere Vätter.

Just watched the first 13! minutes and already can see it anymore...

Why, why is so hard to many US productions have people to tell em; "well if you are going to put a Russian helicopter in the show it must look like this models, google for images". Really WTF, "must be Russian's" using Eurocopters... made in France, wtf. I don't even understand how so ignorant people can reach to make shows...

Russians flying non Russian Russian helicopters at a ridiculous low high and range just to fire a lot of rockets and ammo just to miss all and get blew up by a light rocket launcher. Thats just fraking stupid.

You google Russian helicopters and all you'll see is Mi-17's, Mi-24, Mi- 28, Ka's. Things completely different to eurocopter products that even a retard can differentiate just by looking em.

I had big expectations about this show, then i saw it... Makes the horrible falling skies look good... even knowing FS is a plagiarism of the argentine 1950's comic The Eternaut.

EVERY SINGLE THING in this episode is WRONG!. Im tired of US showing Argentina like we are a bunch of Mexicans who speak like Mexican and live in a tropical climate...

Just looking first 10 minutes:

Buenos Aires is depict with sunny beaches and blue sea. Buenos Aires city has no beaches, is a template region with humidity winters and summers and no one chose it as a vacation's destiny. Hundreds of KM to the south there is the Atlántic Coast vacation's city's, with gray and very cold water even in summer. And the sand is brown.

The music!!!. WTF!!!. Buenos Aires is the born place of Tango!!!, and yet they show like Argentina is a tropical country where there is merengue and salsa everywhere?!!!. WE ARE NOT LIKE CARIBEANS NOR CENTRAL Americans, NOTHING IN COMMON. People here listen Rock (international and national, the only real rock in Latin America), tango, traditional folklore some and the low mass cumbia.

The morgue... WTF again... you think that only United States has machines?... any forensic morgue is equipped with modern machines... despite US ignorance thinking Argentina is like Juarez city, we are a highly developed country compared to any other nation in the region and we have access to any kind of technology... for all the gods, an expensive NASA instrument is in an Argentina built satellite and Australia has a nuclear reactor built by Argentine INVAP, Canadian hydro electrical plants use giant generator built by Argentine company IMPSA.

The people... always showing Mexicans look like as Argentina is like Mexico... 80% of population of Argentina is white, 64% pure Europeans, and the mestizos in our population are nothing alike Mexicans. You walk in any street of Argentina an you will see more white proportion than in NY. Is not a racist thing, but i don't like that the movies and TV shows Argentina as we all are Mexicans.

The speak... WE Don't SPEAK LIKE THE OTHER LATINS, we ARE COMPLETELY Different IN SPEECH, our slang is more rich and wide thanks to Italian, polish, English, German, french, Russian, Sirya immigrants. And we talk in IMPERATIVE way, to us, the rest of Latin Americans seems too weak in their way of talk, we speak like giving orders. We want say "puedes pasarme eso, por favor" (can you give me that please) we would say "dáme eso" (give me that). We don't say "tú", we say VOS, etc, etc, etc. Rioplatense castillian is a very different and complex dialect.

The police... in Argentina police dress in black and dark blue... not in light brown...

The "desaparecidos". They are called disappeared cause they are in the situation, the military junta disappeared em, you cant find em, they are gone forever. The terrorist and the suspected or opositor people was disappeared in many ways, some of them is trowing em to the sea from air force cargo planes, you will never find em. Others were simply converted in pig food or ashes, you cant find em, thats why they are disappeared...

And this is just in the first minutes.

I like Bones but this chapter really drove me mad.

You wont regret to watch this movie.

This is an strong self-critic to humanity, to what we do, to our bad and good nature, what we have done, what we do, what we can do, why we do it and the struggle, personal and general, in our minds.

Simply perfect.

Is deeply multi histories about our history, our actual reality and what it can became in the future. But is not only about the generality of society, but too about individuals and the fight to find the meaning of our lives, find a porpoise greater than us to heritage for our future generations, since art to became old, from start revolutions (deeply critic about history and actual events which are screwing our world) to fight against corruption, selfishness and other bad humanity stuff.

This is the most epic game i ever played, truly, is blows your brain away. Since the start to the end,is so EPIC.

The game is full of movie scenes, a lot of pieces of history, missions that just gives you more question and finally answer that make it all more epic.

Play it with From the Ashes and Leviathan DLC's, you will get some surprises and some holes of the ME universe will be erased giving you part of the history that you will appreciate much.

The fear, the tension, the despair, the most dark behavior of a person, the cost of war, the drama, the fight for the survival, the threat of annihillation of entire civilizations, all of this in Mass Effect 3. This will get you in the front of the monitor immersing you in the game so hard that you actually will believe that is happening.

A master piece of ART itself, is not just a game, is a HEROIC EPIC HISTORY about survival, believes, friendship, loyalty, union. Moral choices about sentient beings, organic or inorganic, the pain of refugees. You will feel your blood boiling for what happen, you will want to fight and protect your kind, you will feel the necessity and impotence of stop the Reapers while you see what they are doing. You will understand the price of the ultimate survival fight.

This game really is good as is reputation, is epic itself.

It deserves a film about it but i prefer a high budget series rather than a movie, but well, movie is already in shooting stage.

As Argentinian, one of the most important things that i like of our actors is that they act normal like in real life. Not overact as i can see in many Hollywood stars. I like to see people blaming, fighting, feeling as we do in real life, i think is one of the most strong values of our good actors. I can tell you we are like him, Ricardo Darin resume exactly how we the argentinians talks and gesticulate.

The dark like of the movie and the places is nothing more than the reality of the streets, the reality of hospitals. They are so human and common that they can do the movie perfectly credible, 'cause, everything (except the love history) is a every day real situations. Of course is not everything tetricus and bad, is a part, there is also good and nice places, but this movie is focused on the dark side.

I strongly recommend this movie, and i wasn't expecting much for this one when i started to see it. It will make you sit and watch all the movie without any second of distraction, every minute worth. Very human, very real, great acts, great camera work (better than i expect for our cinema), everything is very well done.
