A perfect entertainer with a cause
13 November 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Thuppaki, an awesome movie ! Vijay's bold and charismatic appearance drives us crazy :) :) Scenes were perfectly scripted and doesn't bore us anywhere, except the Vennilavae song. Dialogues were evenly poised and fits impeccably. Stunts !! Vj has given his best and the best ever, with reduced Gun shots and using knives & muscles also.

Murugadoss, as a director, achieves better than his previous movies Santosh Sivan's Cinematography brings delight and freshness. Harris Jayaraj's BGM and songs were rocking on screen and stylishly made, Kajal, the charming lady, molds with Vj perfectly, Vidyut, as a sleeper cell head, portrays manliness superbly, and Overall its Illayathalapathy Vijay who deserves the applaud for an wholesome entertainer.

Thuppaki is a 'must watch' movie and I Luv to watch it again..

The Dark Knight Rises is Nolan's yet another Epic !!
20 July 2012
Christopher Nolan's Trilogy finally comes to an end. The Dark Knight Rises, proves to be a highly technical and exhibiting astounding performance overall. Christian Bale's exceptional role as The Batman is so perfect. Anna Hathaway as Cat-women thrills us more. Tom Hardy with his very well built physic poses threat to Batman and Gotham City.

In the middle of the movie, everything seems to be lost and forcing Gotham into a huge trouble. A well scripted epic did not bore the viewers at any point with more than 2 hrs of run length. Hans Zimmer's music fixates us with the movie.

'A Christopher Nolan movie' usually possesses a kind off twist and fulfills the movie with marvelous connections near the end, obviously present in Rises also. Batman's Prowess, Blake and Cat-women's assistance, Fox's technologies, Alfred's significant emotions, Gordon's crucial part as the Commissioner has come out very well.

'The Dark Knight Rises' is Nolan's yet another Epic !!

Billa 2 (2012)
5/10
Purely made for Ajith fans
13 July 2012
Among huge expectations pouring from every corners, Billa 2 finally made its appearance in the screens today. Chakri Toleti, 'Unnai Pol oruvan' fame, has boldly attempted in making a movie with Thala. The movie revolves around David Billa, a refugee from Sri Lanka, transforming into a gangster. Parvathy and Bruna, share the lead heroine role but fails to accomplish their part. But,Vidyuth does his part well, being stylish and a perfect villain across the seas.

Ajith literally steals the show. He appears to be a stylish Don. The dialogues by Era Murugan and Mohamed Zafar seems to be punchy and meaningful. Editing by Suresh could've been better. Music by Yuvan is pretty ordinary but keeps us engaged with the movie. Excellent Cinematography by Rajasekhar, he has made the film look stylish with his technical equipments. Slow Screenplay as resulted in many flaws in the movie.

Its Susprising that a gangster donating one crore to CM, with media covering the whole scene. Loopholes like these could have been avoided. Its so disappointing with the gangster song being placed with end credits. Belly dance sequence is unnecessary and lags the movie.

Stunt shows were promising and the helicopter sequence, even though pretty old, yet it is a big treat for ajith fans !! Overall, Chakri Toleti failed to fulfill the humongous expectations. But, thala fans would enjoy this adult rated movie.

A blend of action and emotion,
29 June 2012
Warning: Spoilers
The Amazing Spider-man has got all the drama. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone adopted their characters very well. Marc Webb has given his best, with emotional and technical blend which is really AMAZING.

The Technical niche, which the old spider-man series did not have, and all those 3D stuffs have come out well in this movie.

Irfan Khan's role as Ratha is promising and he may be the important person in the sequel. Its surprising, Dr. Curt Connors realizing himself as a bad guy and finally saving Peter.

Emma Stone was pretty and charming. Her role, Gwen Stacy, has not gone null with just being emotionally attached to Peter but helping him in a crucial moment. The CGI could've been better. But its good to watch Peter swinging, in 3D. Final verdict, The Amazing Spider-man is a blend of action, emotion and fresh technical stuffs but could've been humorous like The Avengers !
