I found the production has accomplished its goal of making a spoof of many old and new Sci-Fi movies converted into one film based on: Alien, Aliens, Austin Powers, Total Recall, Arachnid, and so on. The premise is to rescue the Leprechaun's Princess so that he cold become King. The underlying events support his quest for the Princess while confronting and evading the Marines who were sent to kill him on sight. The Leprechaun uses his magical powers to his advantage and fool the highly trained Marines sent to destroy him. The funniest scene was when the gung-ho Marine Sergeant turned into a Transvestite on the dance floor and when he awakes, comes out of it he had a dual personality. Also there were references to Alice in the Wonderland with the usual command: Cut their heads off! The unneeded fight scenes were made to fill the empty time frames of this obnoxious and idiotic production. Do NOT waste your time on it.

When I first saw Balls of Fury, certain scenes and even the plot reminded me of Bruce Lee's "Enter the Dragon" movie. Both films are based on competition; Enter the Dragon is Martial Art based, while Balls of Fury is Ping Pong based. Both films employ the same plot in selecting the winner of local competitions to be sent to a Tournament of Champions. The fight scenes of Enter the Dragon were replaced with Ping Pong Table scenes of competitions; Enter the Dragon's plot to smuggle drugs were replaced for undetectable weapons in the plot Balls of Fury. George Lopez's character replaced the special US Agent who initially hired Bruce Lee to infiltrate the Drug Organization in the Enter the Dragon film. So, this was a remake of an old classic Martial Art movie with a new twist that I enjoyed watching very much. Call me a child at heart, but good humor well done and comedy never fades!

I came across this film on my new Samsung TV's streaming TUBI Channel's movie section, and I chose it out of curiosity. Mind you, I was born in Hungary in 1959 and I grew up watching Soviet Propaganda movies all my life showing us how the Russian Army fraught the Nazis during WW2 on our local 1 Channel black and white TV station during the 1960s. I was interested to find out about the 'downfall' of the Third Reich. Well, I couldn't have picked a better presentation than this film! It is based on the chronicles of the final secretary of Adolph Hitler who detailed his and his Generals last days under the streets of Berlin. I must admit that I had never seen some of the material depicted in this 2 hour and 39 minutes production. Considering that these facts were based on the eyewitness accounts of Hitler's own and last secretary, Traudi Junge, who also introduced herself at the beginning with her own report at the start of this presentation.

This chick flick is the first Martial Art film I ever saw that featured an all female cast of fighters. The story is the old revenge plot for the death of a father for which the daughter seeks revenge in the Kumite, a Martial Artist fight to the death competition held annually in the far East. Unlike in the Van Dam version, in this film all the fighters are women who compete against each other. As in the first Blood Sport film, there are good guys and there are bad guys, except in this movie there are good women and there are bad women who compete with each other. There are rich men watching these competitions and bet on the calculated outcome. Our shero rises to the top and finds out how and why her father lost his life, thus completing the goal of her journey to Hong Kong. There are lot of action scenes and some are indeed brutal, which I think was not necessary. Enjoy the show. Steve.

I couldn't help but to compare my old time favorite archeologist of the silver screen, Indiana Jones, to this tongue in cheek tv series featuring Tia Carrere. Whom I enjoyed watching on this show, and still do when I watch its reruns on late night TV. Tia Carrere is smart and pretty, and this combination is a winner for all. I felt puzzled why did Carrere's side kick, Christien Anholt's character was portrayed as somewhat naïve and inept on many occasion, when he too is knowledgeable in his areas of expertise. The show's episodes take place in many different countries and it is always fun to see. I enjoyed the episodes' beginning when it depicted events that happened centuries ago; Now our Relic Hunter must take on a quest in our modern time to find ancient relics and race against other competitors who also seek to find the same relics. Kristin (Tony Collette) is immersed in her family life and in her job. As the saying goes: "When it rains it pours". The day she finds out her grandfather passed away in Italy, she also found her husband banging her friend in the living room. She decides to travel to Italy to attend her grandfather's funeral. During the procession, they come under heavy gunfire from the rival mafia family. It is on this day when she watches a DVD in which her late grandfather decided to leave the family business to her and leaving her in charge. Of course, this is not welcome news to the cartoon character henchmen who hoped to get the job. The rival family makes attempts to get rid of her, but in more comical assassinations' scenes, she manages to stay alive. When she arrived, she was like a fish out of water; But as time went on, she wised up and began to learn the ways how a mafia mob boss conducts business, and she earned the respect of her Mafia family members, as well as the respect of the other Mafia families. I really enjoyed this Mafia spoof, and even though no one would think of Toni Collette for this role, I think she did a very fine job in this production! I recommend this movie.

I really enjoyed this story about two people who keep missing each other from the start of movie. The West Coast Swing dance gave an uplift and energy to the scenes in the film. I found Briana to be very attractive and a talented actress. Tom is a talented dancer and actor as well. I enjoyed the plot as the two kept missing each other, literary walking passed one another from the elevator to Office doors without noticing each other. Other noteworthy characters were a psycho woman who wants to open up Tom, another woman who guzzled down glasses of beers before burping, and then squatting 300 pounds in a weight room, and a gay man who was excessively critical and sarcastic. I wish there was more on screen time spent between Jack and Jill, especially dance scenes that could have been wonderfully entertaining. I really enjoyed this film!

I saw the film on TV and I loved it, even though it was edited for TV! I knew then that I had to get its DVD version, which I did after some search on Google. Even though there are some old cheap comedy scenes repeated in this movie, they are but small parts of the bigger picture that add up to a series events that add up to this hilarious comedy! There are some incredible scenes, such as: ":Your weapons have to be checked in" on the Train ride scene that I found to be both funny and incredible; As well as the Skunk scenes! I found Sean Young to be very sexy and also comical, and I loved to see her in this movie. The Court Room scenes are also whimsical and filled with double entendre. All in all, I found this film to be very entertaining and enjoyable, despite of the other viewer's differing opinion giving their low scores. Enjoy it as much as I did! Steve .

I really enjoyed watching this Film, despite that I am not a Baseball Fan; Which is the entire movie is about. A loosing baseball team that rose to win despite its adversities in the film, namely the Team's Owner who wanted her Team to lose so she could get a better deal elsewhere in Florida. I disliked the forced remaking of a lost relationship between Rene Russo and her love interest in the film; This shouldn't have been in the Movie. Alas, the Film ends with their reunification, which doesn't mean anything to the entire movie's message about winning against the odds! This film is about beating the odds, and it won that title hands down. What else is there to share? I said all that I could have ever said. I hope it is enough to fill that needed numbers here! .

I have seen this same story before; There is nothing new to see in this version. "Le Fem Nikita" comes to mind first, from Director Luc Besson.

The action choreography of the fight scene during the first assassination in a restaurant was excellent. This reminded me Charlize Theron's action packed scenes from "Atomic Blond". I don't know why was the plot thickened with her Handler Helen Mirren's double cross in the beginning, or that could have been a test to know if she would survive her first assignment? The rest of the film if filled with empty scenes of cold blooded assassinations, mundane conversations, and empty love scenes that fill the void as we are waiting for the next action packed scene to arrive. No such luck and so the movie flops. The End.

The Librarians is a TV series that follows a team of 5 who each specialize in an area of expertise art, intellect, history, and fighting, who are called the Librarians to retrieve ancient artifacts with magical powers to protect mankind. Their Library is able to transport the team through time to the time and place their help is needed. Though this series seemed to be targeted for younger audiences, it can be enjoyed by adults as well with lower expectations.

I saw this film on TV and than bought it on DVD because I liked it so much! Its type of humor really appealed to me, especially the satirical look of the 80's culture. The stereotypical characters were entertaining, i.e. The smoking exercise guru, a small exorcism script, a cooking show in Spanglish and French, a fast talking car salesman, an Elvis impersonator, and a singing religious Diva. The manager whose name happens to fleece, is only there to take as much money as he can using religion by swindling his viewers and gospel attendees. It is an entertaining film; I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did!

I had just finished watching the DVD (on 2/14/2022) that I haven't seen in quite some time, and I had gut busing minutes of laughter while watching it. Indeed, this version of the Scary Movie series is the best! The jokes are funny, witty, sometimes crude, and are intended only for mature audiences, especially the talking parrot!

When I checked the cast of the film on IMDB, I noticed that many of its characters were not listed at all. But, I recommend this entertaining mishmash of previous horror film skits in this clever comedy.

When I looked at the menacing look of Danny Trejo, I thought that he again played a bad ass. But not so, not in this film. The film is indeed a peculiar comedy, more of a satire that moves slowly. The target of the film are Televangelists whose sole job is to rip off elderly citizens. The leading role sells stuffed animals (his boss is semi-retarded), and he himself carries around a stuffed dog; As I said: an eccentric comedy. His neighbors, Trejo and his daughter are both bilingual speakers of English and Spanish, but for some reason the lead never understands Trejo when he speaks English. The lead's mother spends her time watching TV ministers, taking her Medications, and sending her checks to TV ministers. After she received an invitation to a revival, the entire group leaves to see it for the elder mother's sake at her doctor's suggestion. This satire achieves its crescendo after the lead signed a document to completely release the Televangelist from any responsibility relating to his Mother's condition for a small lump sum. However, this lump sum will afford the opportunity for this group to start their own televagalising.
