Hackers (1995)
Cult Film (for some of us)
I will start by saying: yes, it is cult, you cannot expect a masterpiece in this type of film, but: the film has a very good soundtrack linked to the environment and context (late 90s), it has a kind of "magic underground "that gives you a certain" comfort ". The characters are chords for a film of his entity, they are clearly superficial, but they sit well in the story, in those times, little known of a group of hackers.
The shortcomings that are easily exposed are: the exaggeration of technical reality and a high quota of surrealism at all times.
It has some memorable scenes, such as: Cyberdelia (the party), an event that is currently being organized in reality at the DNA Lounge in California.
Beyond everything, I remember that in the environment it was said: "finally a hacker movie that somehow exposes that not everything is nerdy when talking about the subject", for those of us who are linked to the subject in some way, it is a unique film, the best in this regard.
