Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
So bad it makes you wanna tell jokes
This movie is the death star of SW saga: when you think it couldn't get any worse, it proves you're wrong. Congrats to all who watched it from beginning to end: the Force has to be with you so you could endure this piece of crap.
Wounds (2019)
Despite from all the bad rates here, I kept watching it...
And I think the movie was really enjoyable. The acting is really good, specially concerning the main character. I graded it 7 because I felt all the aprehension and curiosity I ask for as a thriller/horror movie fan. However, I agree that the movie doesn't explain much of what is going, which is a huge flaw. It could have turned out to be a great horror movie, but I liked the attempt.
Lazzaro felice (2018)
A Masterpiece!
What is wrong with us? Where is innocence and compassion? Is there any good left in this world? Lazzaro represents the incarnation of kindness itself. It is hearthbreaking to see that "Lazzaros" have very little space in this world, and that they are mostly not welcome. This movie will touch deeply the people who are still able to cry when confronted with all the atrocities, and injustices we commit to each other day by day. Most of all, it will touch whoever feels the need to improve in terms of humanity, sensibility and compassion even knowing that greater and darker forces overwhelm mankind.
I deeply recommend everyone this experience.
Todas as Razões para Esquecer (2018)
Beautiful, honest movie
Maybe my rate is max. because I watched this movie exactly when I needed to. This movie deals so truthfully with the pain, the emptiness we feel when we see ourselves all alone. It is not easy to be deprived from a kiss, from the comfort of a good company, but life does not happen exactly the way we plan. It's right the opposite. Even though it hurts to break up with someone, we also need that experience to grow and to feel more comfortable with ourselves. That is why I seriously recommed this movie, specially to the ones who have recently dealt with situations similar to the movie. It is really worth to watch it. :)
X+Y (2014)
Life surprises all...
I always look at the rating of a movie here on IMDb before watching it. I guess I believe too much in its users' taste. Probably, I shouldn't do that. One perfect example is the movie I'm about to comment on now: an ordinary rate, 8, is very inappropriate, in my opinion, regarding to this movie. X+Y is a mild but powerful movie in the sense that it tells Nathan's story with no big emotions but always making us relate to him somehow, which is the best thing it could do. Most of us have a rather superficial idea about what it is to be "gifted", as if people like that were only highly smart but lacked "humanity" skills. However, this movies brings us a new perspective, not only on how gifted people deal with their emotional side, but especially on how the mathematics of life are unachievable to every human mind. Perhaps because life is the perfect prime number.
