The debacle of the live-action had many problems with it. Story beats that don't make much sense where they are placed. Mostly notably the position of the existential musing "DIVE SCENE" taking place as MAJOR is being hunting down. Also the fact the whole end reverts to a generic "corporation greed is toxic" type of ending. But most apparent is the whitewash casting of the cast. Personally I think it got a little overhyped. More of a missed opportunity to have an Asian female lead in possible amazing adaptation a groundbreaking Anime film. Guess they dodged a bullet. I could see they're think though. It's Scarlett Johannson, biggest female star of "Lucy" that made $500Mil+ with just her star power. All we need. Plus, the world is a world where people change bodies/nationalities like clothes. MAJOR KUSANAGI is known only as "THE MAJOR". Biggest mistake was doubling down when the backlash occurred only to troll everyone w/ the reveal that the MAJOR is Kusanagi. Congratulations you played yourself.

The English Death Note film was so trash. Some of the cast I was okay with but.....

If I was directing/writing/producing the live-action adaptation of this classic anime series into film trilogy. Granted this would be a version that has Nerv and everything else being more multicultural rather than the Japan-centric. This list is for if I could do it this year or in the past 5 years. The actors/actresses that I listed are my possible ideal universal representations of the characters.

With the greenlit Netflix adaptation on it way seeing the cast so far. I want to put together my rendition if could do it myself. The is also an all-time cast as well.

Replaying "The Wolf Among Us" and it just got me wanting a big screen trilogy or an Netflix/HBO/STARZ/AMC series based on this amazing comic series. I like "Once Upon A Time" and all but I'd like to see a version closer to the original Grimm's tales of old. It would be very interesting if you ask me.

There's an adaptation that's in the works with the original writer writing the film script. Great news with that. Here are my picks for the cast. Trying to keep with american/canadian actors for THE LAST OF US because it's drenched with americana. Feel free to comment or suggest.

Since it seems that the WB execs want this to be there next endeavor after "Justice League" and the Ben Affleck directed(hopefully) "The Batman"(Lame name IMO,"Caped Crusader" would be better). They really should develop a Harley Quinn/Joker story in the vein of "Bonnie & Clyde" style structure. Anyway heard rumors the story would involve The Sirens going against the "Birds of Prey" that would feature Poison Ivy and Catwoman. This includes a weird rumor that Megan Fox might play Poison Ivy. No, that doesn't work at all. So, begrudgingly, here my cast for this possible film adaptation.

There's a reboot film(s) coming along sometime soon, maybe. Matthew McConughey is probably playingthe villain, Randall Flagg, a great choice. Hope they turn it into a trilogy with a little bit of action especially within the final film. Personally thought the ending was a little anti-climatic, not the tail end but the lead up to it. "SPOILER ALERT ahead if you haven't read the book or seen the miniseries."....................After Harold's bombing in Boulder, they just walk up to Las Vegas and just let themselves get taken. As a film audience wouldn't you feel cheated. If they split the film where the first or second one ends with the bombing and the 2nd or 3rd starts with them trekking toward Las Vegas that film should be elongated detailing that trek. Showcasing them coming across maybe some faction of the Vegas faction or random not so nice people making their way there, helping people that are making their way to Boulder. Randall Flagg desperately searching for them as his powers are waining. See how Frannie and the others back in Boulder deal with getting things up and running again. That would be my take on it. Obviously, I'm auditioning for the creative crew of this production. Hope you guys like it and please feel free to comment or make suggestions if you want.
