A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child (1989)
A solid sequel, while being a creepy, good standalone film as well.

I really had a fun time with "A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child". The death scenes were extremely creative, and most of the characters held their own. The practical effects were incredible, and absolutely hold up to today's standards. As for the dream sequences, some of these were the best of the entire franchise. It's almost like an "Evil Dead" movie if you take the fantasy-horror tone induced into this entry to the franchise. The cinematography was incredible, and the direction shines through the picture. This movie gets a 7 because the ending seems rushed, but it's good enough. I recommend this movie. It's a fun time, and takes you back on a nostalgia trip to 80s horror movies. :)
