LEMMiNO: The Kennedy Assassination: Inside the Book Depository (2023)
Darker Shade of Grey
Confusing, conflicting and contradictory information. Lack of accurate details often leads to a theory of conspiracy. The vast majority of the video is spent going over the "documented" testimonies of the employees who worked at the depository, which by the narrator's own admission are confusing and could have been manipulated after being recorded. The narrator states that fingerprints had been lifted off of the rifle. This was not the case at the time of the investigation. The fingerprints were discovered after Oswald's death and then later those prints could not be found in the FBI's or Dallas PD archives. Regarding more than one shooter, that fact that the video completely leaves out the congressional hearings on the assassination in the '70's determining that there were at least two different shooters concluding that the odds against this being a conspiracy were improbable.
In the end the narrator states that it is too far of a stretch that the assassination of JFK could have been a conspiracy due to how poorly executed the assassination was. I would say that, due to the mysteries that surround the event, that if this had been a conspiracy it was an extremely successful action.
The definition of a conspiracy is a simple one: a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful. Whether a conspiracy or a "lone" gunman, until the unredacted files of the assassination are released it comes down to belief and or trust. This video instills neither one.
Good graphics and quality presentation but in the end not a beneficial use of an hour and a half.
