A masterpiece

Only MT could have thought of such a complicated story line. It takes you to a whole new experience.

The characters compete with each other in perfection. But its Lal who is at its best again. The movie takes you to the million dollar question on Death penalty and the judicial system. Thilakan had a very different role as the victims father. And and him taking a very different approach towards the end.

The back ground music complements the movies theme gracefully. This is one movie which you need to see in one go waiting for each scene to unfold. You will!!

A film for all ages

Warning: Spoilers
I first saw this movie as a kid. I enjoyed the comedy and fast paced movie thoroughly. Till the heart breaking end. Later on I used to watch it only till the last half hour when the drama begins.

But as I grew up and had my own share of experiences. The climax seemed more realistic to me. I started watching only the climax!!!!!!!!!!

Overall a great movie, great comedy, great songs, decent story line.... The scenes enacted by lal, mukesh and jagadeesh have been etched in every malayalees mind. Especially, the cycle chase, the glue episode, church scene. Heavily borrowed from English movies, the film has room for a good laugh as well as leaving the movie hall with aheavy heart Enjoy

One of the best Malayalam films ever! Its about how Vijayan and Dasan played by Mohanlal and Sreenivasan survive all odds to earn a decent living. It has some of the most remembered scenes in Mal movies like the scene with Gafoor. You will never get tired of this "for the masses film" where disasters that happen to middle class average people are portrayed with humor and how they finally overcome all odds. Mohanlal and Sreenivasan are outrageous laugh riot where Srinivasan has a inferiority complex about his dark, short PDC. Mohanlal hides his complex in a seemingly superiority complex of being tall, handsome and BCOM-first class. Excellent!
