Death in Paradise (2011– )

Just plain paradise
17 January 2021
Covid lockdown has seen me search new venues for entertainment. In my search, came across Death in Paradise. It was love at first sight. The show, scenery, characters, and storylines are fantastic! Commissioner Patterson is my favorite character (who's yours?). He keeps me in stitches. Anyway, it's one of the best shows I've seen on television ever. I was surprised to see that it had not garnered more awards

Major Crimes (2012–2018)
Series Finale
10 January 2018
I thought I'd be sad to see the series end much like with The Closer. But, if I had to endure one more scene with that character, Rusty Beck, I'd seriously consider picking up the mantle from Philip Stroh.

Marlon (2017–2018)

Essence deserves better
5 September 2017
I completely understand why Essence's character divorced Marlon. A woman needs an adult male to be a father for their children. She does not need another prepubescent, self- absorbed man child to raise. Marlon's choice of wardrobe on each episode displays the willful inability of an over 40 father to embrace maturity. The show is disgusting in its reliance on cheap and non imaginative racial stereotypes.
