Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Long And Flawed
The film is nowhere near the first one and it's predictable, which is tiring. If you're a comicbook fan, you've watched the second trailer and you have thought a little bit, you could find out for yourself, how the events will unfold in the exact same way and at the end you'll be right. There was not a single moment that surprised me.
There are some good action scenes, but most of them looks cheesy. The CGI is just bad. The colors are used on spot, but the thing that seemed out of fashion a long time ago and that was in the first movie too, is the excessive use of slow motion. Several times done it's fine, but to be used in almost every action scene...
Although things were predictable, I liked the performance of Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord and I would say that his arc was the best part of the movie, no matter how corny it was. The gradation toward Kristen Wiig's Cheetah was okay, but the final battle, if I can say that was a battle was lame. They could improve her as a character. Actually, she was there, just because, Diana must fought with someone and If you wonder why the fight between Diana and Cheetah takes place at night...well, because the CGI is bad.
There're too many cliches and nonsenses all over the place. Chris Pine is like transparent character. I mean he's there and he's important for Diana, bringing some heart to the movie, but we already knew that. Overall his character was written way better in the first one. Here he's kind of a emotional reminder for Diana plus "the funny guy" in the movie. Basically, this time, Steve is the "fish out of water", which parallels the first movie, where Diana was.
"WW84" feels too long and it really is. They drag some plot points way too much and you can feel that boring.
I'll not gonna spoil anything, enjoy the movie when you have the opportunity. I'll probably watch it again after time, but I think that my overall opinion will not change much. For me, the first one is way better as a whole, compared to this one.
The New Mutants (2020)
The Myth, The Legend, The New Mutants
Well, they finally released this movie...3 years later. Given that, the story originally had to be told in 3 separate films, I can say, that it turned out to be kind of a boring mish-mash.
For sure the dark tone we have seen in all the promotional materials is certainly noticeable, but I can't say, that there are so many scary or intensity moments. I guess it also depends on how old you are. The Demon Bear got cool design and that's it.
The cast brings nothing special to the table, except Anya Taylor-Joy's Magik character, which stands out in front of the others.
There are some great scenes, but in the end the movie is kinda forgettable. This movie was supposed to come out 3 years ago, a time in which many movies came out and people slowly lost interest.
If you are a comicbook fan, watch it and support the work of the people who worked on it, they deserve it. It's not some big spectacle movie, but it has it's moments.
Just watch it without high expectations.
Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn (2020)
Forgettable Harley Quinn Movie
The movie is not that bad, but to be honest...it's a movie about Harley, everyone else, pale in front of her.
I knew, that there will be feminism, but the whole movie is about feminism, which IMO is too much.
I would categorize the movie as DC's version of "Deadpool", but it won't be quite accurate. It must be seen to be understand.
There are some pretty creative approaches, some not so much. The story is not very impressive, but I think it's expected, nothing really special.
Black Mask got exactly one comicbook scene...kinda. Everything else about him was just...strange.
The action is probably the best part of the movie.
The music somehow fits into the overall atmosphere, there're 2-3 strikes.
Considering that I was expecting to be a total waste of time, I can say it was boring, but not disappointing as "Suicide Squad". I would say, that it's forgettable Harley Quinn movie at best.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
"Confused" Is The Right Word
You will go through all sorts of emotions if "Star Wars" is in your blood.
There're answers for the question that "The Force Awakenes" and "The Last Jedi" put on the table.
The action...is the best of this Star Wars trilogy, and it can be said that the film has scenes that will be remembered and followed by a time.
The story is too much for 2 hours and a half. There were all kinds of theories, but I will not give out anything, you'll judge for yourself. The story of this movie, can be told in 3 movies and I think it will make a better sequel trilogy, than the one we received.
The music as always is the soul of "Star Wars"!
Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley are giving out everything until the end! There are surprises for sure, good ones and not so good...
I need to watch it again...
In the end, like it or not, as every "Star Wars" movie, there are still plenty of good things to remember. "Star Wars" is a movie for the generations!
Joker (2019)
We Are All Clowns!
This is not your typical comicbook movie! This is a MUST SEE pure art!
The Joker is such a complicated character and every actor in the years portrait im differently which always will be great.
Joaquin Phoenix is beast in this role! I'll not compare his portrait of the character till I see the movie second time, but man...such a great performance!
The whole dark Gotham vibe is so good, you can dive in it. There is pure acting and pure violence. Some people will like it, some not.
This is not Jared Leto surrounded by 1,000 knives without reason...this is the real world.
The movie perfectly show our society nowadays and maybe this is one of the reason why is so good.
De Niro performance it's great as you can expect, same goes to all other supporting actors.
The music kills at some points, because it's so intense with the particular scenes.
So ground based and so good. This is probably the best movie this year after "Endgame", honestly...you can't compare them, they're both unique in their ways.
I recommend this movie so much, but is not for everyone for sure. It'll make you think about so much things in the end because as I said....
We are all clowns...of our time!
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
Spidey's Future Is Bright!
Great sequel! I really liked the first movie, but this one is even better.
Tom Holland is the Spider-Man we deserve. Best one on screen no doubt. The chemistry between Peter, Happy and the rest of the cast is superb. There're explanations from "Endgame" which are interesting.
Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio is pure gold. Another A-list actor which represent famous comics villain and he did it great.
The story got layers and it's huge build up to the character of Peter and how he cary the legacy of Iron Man and so much more.
The jokes between Peter and his friends works most of the time. There a plenty of emotional moments as you can expect after the events of "Endgame".
Michael Giacchino did a great job with the score again. The music fits perfectly in the context of the scenes you watch. Classic Spidey vibes.
The action is even better than "Homecoming" (expected), particularly the second half of the movie. If you're comicbook fan, you'll notice so much references, so you need to watch the movie again for sure.
After the end of the movie, you'll want to see what's going to happen next in the MCU.
There're 2 credit scenes and they are interesting especially one of them...just mind-blbowing! So important and probably one of the most satisfying moments in the cinema history.
Officialy Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man on screen and "Far From Home" is the best live action movie. Trust me!
Dark Phoenix (2019)
Smouldering Fire
For second time this storyline is ruined...
Best things in this franchise were Wolverine, Magneto and Professor X (both versions). Everything else is kinda forgettable.
We already saw that movie "The Last Stand" and 13 years later it still feels blunt. The Phoenix saga is so huge, you can't make very good movie under 2 hours. Also when you already know what happend in "The Last Stand" it's kinda boring. Yeah, there are changes, but still not enough to make it good.
So the story is "yeah, we saw that", the chemistry between Jean and Cyclops it's forced. There was not enough time spend with them to look believable. People are bored already, that Mystique kinda lead the new "X-Men" movies, also her arc exhale before long ago. I think Magneto is the best part of the movie, I don't know, I just like what Fassbender bring to the character.
Sophie Turner is good looking actress and will always be remembered with "GOT", "X-Men" it's like free time spin off for her career (I don't want to sound like an insult).
The effects are fine, but the CGI it's kinda bad at some points.
In the end, it was expected with all these reshoost. Can't wait to see "X-Men" in the MCU done right.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Life Event!
You think "Infinity War" was mind-blowing? So was I...but man..."Endgame" is simply the best cinematic experience in my life and every fan since the beginning of the MCU can confirm it! I still got chills after this movie...it will haunt me for so long! You'll cheer, you'll laugh, you'll scream and also you'll cry...a lot.
Watching this building of characters since 2008 on big screen and watching the culmination of it is hearthbreaking and emotional!
Also...they kept the script very well. 3 hours long movie and I needed more at the end!
Thank you Kevin Feige, Russo Brothers and all the cast members and people behind the scenses, who made this thing real. This is life event!
I can't wait to watch it again and again and again with my friends...and yeah I'll cry just like the first time, but man...worthed!
Shazam! (2019)
B-Grade Superhero Movie
Well, it's not a movie I've been looking forward alot, but since I'm a comicbook fan it's in the list.
The references to other DC movies are on a level, the chemistry between Billy and his family is nice. I would not say the movie keeps you under pressure for what's happening.
The character of Shazam is childish and Zachary Levi portrait him perfectly. The action is fine, the humor is "okay".
The effects are on point, The villain...Dr. Sivana...well I would not say it was memorable, but Mark Strong portrait him well.
At the end Shazam learned some basic lessons about his powers for one of his next big fights (with Black Adam).
Generally, the movie is predictable and not so special, but it's "okay". There is definitely no "WOW" moment.
I put this one somewhere behind "Man of Steel" and "Wonder Woman". I think I enjoy it a bit more than "Aquaman" for what it is.
Captain Marvel (2019)
Higher Further Faster!
Brie Larson enters with all his heart in the role of Captain Marvel! Her palette of emotions is more than rich, so the hater can cry in the corner. Happy?
The whole story is a different origin, that you will appreciate. The movie is great and engaging, great action, fun moments, and lots of references that will only be appreciated by the true fans. There're suprises (some of them will blown you away).
The combination between Brie Larson and Samuel Jackson is something we could only have wish to this point! The chemistry between them is great. Jude Law is on point, Goose (the cat) just killing it, but man...Ben Mendelsohn steals every scene, just unique character!
The visual effects do not disappoint! Everything looks even better than the trailers.
One of the reasons why the film is interesting, is the time period in which it's set and all the small references to events from the Marvel Universe. It's not the "typical" Marvel movie for sure. Brie Larson and Lashana Lynch (Maria Rambeau) kicks immediately and no, this is not movie about feminism, it's a great comicbook story about female lead character, get over it!
I definitely can't wait to see Captain Marvel and The Avengers side by side! For sure her first appearance will be a blast! She's the necessary shock to the system, not the hero who will defeat Thanos, but with the combined efforts of the Avengers she will can do so much. Captain Marvel is a brute force!
Stay by till end of the movie...we're in the Endgame now!
Aquaman (2018)
Predictable CGI Journey
Aquaman, Orm and Manta are comic accurate. Thestory is predicatble since the second huge trailer. I mean, there was not a moment were I was surprised by anything including the credit scene.
The visuals are great for the most time, but at some places you're starting to wonder is there anything real in this movie? The CGI becomes tangible.
The action scenses are decent, slow motion is everywhere, the humor is...really? The movie is better than most of the others DC movies, but still got a lot problems, including story connections, logic and physics. I mean for me "Man Of Steel" is still the best one, followed by "Wonder Woman". All I can say is predicatble from start to finish pop corn flick.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)
Extraordinary!
This movie is probably the best, that Sony ever offered us from the Spidey universe. Super fresh story, incredible animation style, characters that we'll hardly see on the big screen soon, plenty of fun moments and tons of comicbook references.
Absolute joy, especially if you're comicbook nerd. It has already been confirmed that there will be a sequel and honestly, I can not wait.
Go and see for yourself. One hundred percent you'll not be disappointed at the end...the very end.
Venom (2018)
Another Weird "Sony" Creation
What the hell are you? Well, the latest Sony "wanna be great" Spider related movie, which is not. I mean the main idea to build your own cinematic universe separted from the MCU, without Spider-Man, but with the future plan to cross with him it's kinda too optimistic for Sony. This movie demands to be R-Rated...or not, this is just unnecessary movie. I mean nobody wants it. People want Venom in the MCU with Spidey, not Sony making their own universe.
Tom Hardy and the connection with Venom, is the best thing about the movie. There is some action, the story is blunt and there is nothing really special other than action scenes and some humor at the end.
I really hope the second one to be a lot better than this. For sure, there're some people, which are not so invested into the comicbook world and will like it as a separated property.
One of the credit scenes is good, but it was predictable and I don't know what the future of this universe will be.
At the end my score it's still high...
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
Don't Judge By The Size, Judge By The Quality!
Yes, the movie responds to some questions, we asked during "Infinity War" and yes, for people who do not watch all the movies, only some selective...all of the movies in the MCU are connected and this one is no exception.
I will not get into the details for the movie, but it got everything you need to remember it. The story is fun, the action is great, also connections to other movies. All these, are just some of the incredible things in this movie!
Personally for me, Evangeline Lilly in the role of Hope Van Dyne (Wasp) stole the show, because she's incredible, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man evolves himself as a hero, but do not think that the curious moments are less! Actors in supporting roles only make the movie even better. Stellar ensemble, also the humor is spot on. Get ready for a lot of surprises!
If you think that watching "Ant-Man and the Wasp" after "Infinity War" is crazy, believe me, Marvel own us once again. Just the thought, that after such a big event in the MCU, we are watching a lighter film, but at the same time extremely important for the culmination of all the events of ten years of stories is mind-boggling!
In conclusion "Ant-Man and the Wasp" is another jewel in the MCU crown! The film is full of action, fun moments and character development. I will not disclose anything else, but stay to the very end of the movie...
One of the credit scenes is easily top notch!
Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
Han Shots First!
Opposite of the expectations, the film is purely a pleasure for me! The setting itself presents a new part of the Star Wars universe, which has not been presented so far on the big screen. The story is interesting, the characters are great, especially Lando and Chewie. The new characters Beckett, Qi'ra also improve the story very well.
It's good to note, that Alden Ehrenreich is not trying to imitate Harrison Ford, but portrays it in a way we have not seen before. It was exactly what he was before he turned into this pessimistic, to a lot of things and a hero we love.
Music is an important part of the movie! Together with the relevant scenes, the film takes you to this setting. We really have to respect Ron Howard for his achievement in this film.
"Solo: A Star Wars Story" is not a typical Star Wars movie, but it fits perfectly into the universe and is undoubtedly a pleasure. Different, fun, but serious when it needs.
Watch the movie and you will not be disappointed if you are open-minded!
Deadpool 2 (2018)
Well-Done Action Packed Sequel
As you expected, "Deadpool 2" is all that we expected and above. The action does not stop almost the entire movie, the new characters are great especially Cable and Domino. The humor as you can expect is something without the movie will not be the same...yet it is a distinctive feature for the character of Deadpool.
The story is good and you can expect some surprising people to interfere in the the movie, but I will not tell you, see for yourself. The effects are very good, the music choice fits great with the action scenes and the individual moments in the movie.
Supporting roles also do not lag behind and accumulate a lot of points. If I have to determine which is the best part of the movie, then that's undoubtedly Josh Brolin as Cable.
I advise you to stay until the end of the movie, there are some pretty good things waiting for you.
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
The War Is Here!
This is...I literally got no words after this movie.
This is the most epic movie you'll ever seen. You will cry from pleasure, you will cry from epicness and you will definitely cry from heartbreaking scenes. Ten years of building, leading to this MASTERPIECE!
I guess you want to know something about Thanos. Well, he is the ultimate villain, I mean he is menacing. Every speech that he got, gives you chills, his movements, his motivation, hands down the best villain!
The interactions between the different fractions of heroes is magnificent. The first time you see Guardians and Thor, Iron Man and Guardians, Strange and Spidey it's just awesome! The chemistry between them is incredible.
The story is told incredibly. The waiting for this movie, the hype, everything is worth it. Actions scenes especially some....are jaw dropping, you gonna shake your head and you will be not able to stay on your seat calm. The music combined with the scenes, like I said MASTERPIECE...this movie is out of this world.
Russo Brothers just strike again! The visuals are so well done too. There is no way to catch every single detail on the first viewing, also the movie deserves multiple viewings again and again and again...and I'm not even joking.
On purpose I do not want to give you absolute any spoilers. I want you to enjoy the movie by yourself. I believe any real fan will be happy with the result of ten years gradation and like me, will got no words.
Black Panther (2018)
Beyond Expectations!
Long Live The King! Whatever I say about the movie will be a little. Definitely "Black Panther" takes its place as one of the strongest movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The cast is probably the best in a Marvel solo movie. "Black Panther" shows an unseen part of the MCU - Wakanda, their tribes, secrets and their way of life.
Indeed, one of the strongest features of the film is the acting of everyone in this movie. I can't say only one name, but Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Andy Serkis, Danai Gurira, Angela Basset, Letita Wright and Forest Whitaker are just some of the best characters in this movie.
The story is really strong, which makes the movie so good. Michael B. Jordan played the role of Erik Killmonger brutally. After the movie ends, the villain gets stuck in your mind, just because you understand his motivation and is presented perfectly, in two words "memorable villain". If you have not become Chadwick Boseman's fan in "Captain America: Civil War," it's inevitable now! T'Challla must lead his people, be king and hero at the same time, which is a heavy burden.
Every scene between him and his sister Shuri is a pleasure. She is only 16 years old, but her intellect can be compared to that of Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.
Special attention should be paid to every action scene. Movements and choreography are just unparalleled. You will make sure you see Black Panther, Killmonger and Okoye in action.
The colors in this movie are unique! The effects are great, except in some in some places in the final battle.
The soundtrack by Kendrick Lamar is great. After the end of the movie, you will want to listen the songs of the album.
The movie introduces us the story of Wakanda in depth and gives us many new characters, all of whom are great.
In the future, "Black Panther" will be one of the often watched Marvel movies, as T'Challa is a person who easily gains the audience's sympathy, and you will not have passion to see him in "Avengers: Infinity War".
In conclusion, if you want an amazing experience, watch the movie as soon as possible!
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
Different
"The Last Jedi" fits into the well-established atmosphere of the new trilogy, but at the same time it is different. Rian Johnson's revenue is clearly visible. Unlike "The Force Awakens", where it was set to be more secure, here the director allowed himself to insert entirely new things that make up the big universe of Star Wars.
The movie is noticeably darker, as was clear from the release of the first poster, the trailer and the ad campaign.
Some fans will be happy because of 2 particular scenes, they've been waiting for years become a reality in this movie. Others will not like it so much, because there are some really unnecessary scenes, also this is not the typical "Star Wars" movie.
The "Last Jedi" answers some questions, but there are many unknowns, that we'll not know until 2019.
"The Last Jedi" is good as one-off fantasy movie, but it is controversial, as a part of the Skywalker saga.
Justice League (2017)
Absolute Mess
The most important movie in the DCEU? Yes. The best movie? NO! I dare to say that "Justice League" is a total mess. "BvS" was not a good movie, but this one is even worse. Yes, I'm not kidding, there was not a single moment in the movie, that I care about something or I was under pressure about what's happening.
Batman was worse portrayed off than "BvS", all he did was showing his new outfits, gadgets and make his traditional jumps. After Steppenwolf and Flash he got probably the dumbest replicas in the movie. Wonder Woman played the role of a leader more than Batman, but she did nothing special at all. I do not think there is a need to say that the movie is a full of slow-motion moments, and right at the beginning, it has an unrealistic stupid scene. Surprisingly, Cyborg was the best-represented character...before they started working together, when he also faded against the backdrop of what's going on. Some people will say that Flash is "very good and fun", it was very flat for me. Whatever you tell me Flash has never been so stupid in the comics, Bart Allen yes, but Barry Allen never. Aquaman shine with nothing except his badass vision. I was hoping for him to do something memorable, but the only thing we saw were slow motion scenes, watching him how wet and strong it's...the best we got was the quote from the trailer "I can dig it" and then, when he's sitting on the Batmobile and says something relatively good.
The villain? Yeah, that's the worst villain I have ever seen in a movie, even Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Faced from "Batman Forever" was a better one. Completely CGI villain with a banal motivation to conquer the world. The only thing Steppenwolf wins in my eyes is that he is the winner of the prize - "Author of the dumbest speeches in the movie". "MOTHER"...sounds stupid, it was finally clear that Overpowered Superman should intervene to defeat the "big" villain. Plus the parademons do not die, they still exist, and the whole film does nothing about them in the end.
Superman? Perhaps you all wonder how he's back in the movie...honestly, all the theories that were written were light years better than what actually happened. Superman was revived by one of the Mother Boxes (yeah sounds lame) and confronted the whole league and he beat the league for 3 minutes..all of them. Of course Batman got a "trap" that he could not resist - Lois Lane, after which everything was in order. Ooh...I would have forgotten that the movie started with Superman and his mustache and an attempt to get rid of it through CGI, but as you guess, when I say it to you, it is evident, It can't be unseen, following a time in which it's again visible is his resurrection, simply can not be omitted.
Is there a Green Lantern? Yes, but it's just a few seconds and is not one of the main ones, it's just a flashback from the past war with Steppenwolf, to show you that we'll see a new member of the league in the future. In the whole movie, it was not explained to anyone exactly what the three mother boxes can do, and why the benefit is so valuable, but everyone can steal them...The story was dumb, the league was gathered in a very controversial way. Humor was forced, if I laughed at something in the whole movie, it was 1 or 2 times maximum, everything else was a tragedy.
The movie is full of CGI and all the time you can not explain what is happening just as you can not explain why the "big threat" in the movie and its lair gathers the mothers boxes in an abandoned place in Russia, where lives only one family that will then be rescued by Flash...by pushing a car.
The movie has two post-credit scenes, the first one is fun and the second is something that DC needs to build in its Cinematic Universe in the future, but I do not see how it will happen if they continue to make such weak movies. I'm not a hater, but DC have some of the most famous heroes and even more famous villains, but this is insult to the fans. There are scenes in the movie, that have no explanation, yeah I understand that these are fictional characters, and in the comicbook world everything is possible, but Flash falls while running fast and Batman catches him...this is just one of many examples, for which I do not think to write.
I can say a lot more, but honestly it is not worth it. I can't appreciate the movie higher than 5.5 or 6/10.
Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
Madness!
This movie is one hell of a journey!
The story is right out of Jack Kirby pages and combines all kind of tones (serious, sad, funny). The cinematography of action scenes is just unrealisticly good. Hela is one of the best MCU villains so far! Cate Blanchett just killing it in this role. She looks sexy, furious and also got her arc in the movie, which is big step, thinking about previous "Thor" movies. Hulk got so many epic moments, that I just can't count. Valkyrie fits perfectly in the "Revengers" team, such a good actress. Loki is fan favourite again! Every moment with Tom Hiddleston on screen is awesome.
The movie it's so colourful and extraordinary, so you can watch it again and again and again! The score of the movie, the intense scenes, I mean I really love this movie. Is the best one among all of the three "Thor" movies. Firstly. because it feels like whole new story telling, and secondly it's also one of the best MCU movies.
Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe gives us truly great movies, and like a die hard Marvel fan, I appreciate that.
I will not reveal the plot or some big details of the movie, I want you to enjoy yourself first, but you'll not be disappointed at all! Hela is epic, Odin got his significant role and there are some Huge connections that'll lead to "Infinity War" and you'll lose your mind when you see them.
MINOR SPOILER: Someone is coming!
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
Awesometacular!
The best "Spider-Man" movie since "Spider-Man 2"
As distinct Tobey Maguire, who was good as the one behind the mask and acceptable as Peter Parker and Andrew Garfield, who was equally bad in both as a regard, Tom Holland excellent combines school life with his new amploa of superhero.
Most of the time the action develops in the school and shows Peter Parkers everyday life, something that we cannot tell about the rest of the 5 movies. I dare to say, that the selection of all these young actors and actresses is an excellent choice, because everyone are fitting in the story and as distinct from "Transformers: The Last Knight" where the kids were one of the most irritate thing, everything here was good.
The best Spider-Man movie for sure! The talented Tom Holland recreates character of the famous superhero from the comics world in the best way. He is at the same time ambitious and funny. Things that are part of the origin story in the comics. His suit is the best and as common as the original one, all these special moves and extras are collected in the suit are something brand new for the audience, but only if you can see what is he capable of. The problem with the previous movies is that we always watching the same story, that this time was skipped to make possible for the new and fresh ideas to come.
Before someone start complaining how this movie is "Iron Man 4", No, it is not "Iron Man 4", the movie is "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and Iron Man is not the big star in this movie. Yes, he is part of it, but that does not mean, that the story is about him. He is just a mentor figure to Peter in his new adventures. Do not put off because of the trailers, because the movie is more than you can see for these two minutes. The spectator will be surprised while watches the movie.
Concerning about the main villain, Michael Keaton kill them with the role of Adrian Toomes/Vulture with good known brilliant acting game. In my opinion his composure is presenting in the movie and make him one of the better MCU villains.
The first and the second act of the movie are progressively very strong and as we know in this situation usually the third one sucks, definitely cannot say that about "Homecoming". The final act is not just as good as the other ones, it's even better.
The movie contains a lot, really a lot of easter eggs, which are really important for the next movie. This is why you need to watch very observing so you can see all of them, but I convince you that you will want to watch the movie at least one more time in the theater.
After the end of the movie, you'll definitely want to see Spider-Man in "Avengers: Infinity War".
If you are long-standing fan of Marvel, you know that you have to stay at your place until the last inscriptions ends, so you can see the two credits, one of them is important, the other...well, you'll see.
Wonder Woman (2017)
Step In The Right Direction
The story is good, nothing really "wondering" if you're comicbook fan. The acting is on point, same goes to the actions scenes.
I think the slow motion is too much. I mean, which year is it? If I ignore that, there are some prety decent action scenes.
The colors are great and overall I like the tone of the movie.
The villain is kinda forgettable, also I don't really like his final form.
The final battle is not so special and besides that, some things are too similar to the events of "Captain America: The First Avenger".
At the end I can say the movie is enjoyable. DC movies. I rank it at #2, after "Man of Steel"
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
Crazy Trip To The MCU Cosmic World
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2 is freaking good from the very beginning till end! If you like the first chapter, then you'll definitely love Volume 2. The relations between every character evolve and every one of them got a special moment in the movie. Now, we all knew that Baby Groot is adorable and predictably he'll stole the show, but man...Drax, Rocket, Gamora, Nebula, Yondu even Mantis they're all awesome in their way. Of course, Star Lord makes what he can do best, leading the group of a**holes.
The cinematography, the stable and funny story, the brilliant colors, that James Gunn added to this movie are just fabulous! The comedy is totally on point. Action scenes are great. The music? Well you can listen the GOTG Vol.2 songs over and over again and they all works perfectly in the context of the movie.
Phase 3 of MCU is very strong first with Civil War, then Doctor Strange and now Guardians doesn't disappoint at all. This is truly one hell of a movie and you must watch it!
Don't leave the theaters till the very end of the final text of the credits, there're a few surprises.
Logan (2017)
Hearthbreaking Masterpiece!
Magnificent movie, that you must watch at any cost. It's so good, the film got fun, action, violence, and much emotions. Like they said in the movie "This is how the real world looks like". There can't be a better send off to Hugh Jackman character than this. If you watch all the X-Men movies and know the connection between Logan and Charles...man, this will break your heart. X-23 is at the same time so cute, so aggressive and she'll totally win your hearts.
For me this is the best movie based on X-Men characters. Yes, "Deadpool" break the fourth wall, but the words are not enough to explain how incredible is this movie. It's not the R rating that make this movie masterpiece, it's the script and the history between the characters.
There is nothing in this movie, that I don't like. Probably it's one of the best comicbook movies till date. The third act is amazing and heartbreaking. So if you ask me, can I compare this movie to "The Dark Knight"...Yes I Can. It's a perfect match.
I appeal to everyone, go and watch the film!
