No pun intended - there is no way you can put politics aside of course. Also ... what can politicians do to help people? And can an honest man win elections? The answer to that may be more gloom than we'd like it to be. But it does make for an entertaining movie and a quite eventful watch. Add to that a lot of characters .. and a lot of action and violence .. this is not pure drama, if that is what you were thinking.

Gripping and while morality seems at a low ... the main actor/character is able to bring us in .... to reel us in ... to make us feel he is doing what is good and necessary to impact changes ... but for how long is that a viable answer and an excuse? You have to decide ... interesting movie, very well acted!

Not exactly, also no pun intended. This movie is weird ... if there was only one thing you would want to know about it ... that would be it. To describe it is quite hard. But it deals with humanity as much as it deals with our mortality and death ... and in a sense the meaning of (after)life I reckon ... you can read quite a few things into this.

I started watching this and I was trying to figure out what it was doing. What the bird was ... and the connection and all that. Destiny is a "funny" thing ... certain things have to happen. Certain things are inevitable - also there is a need for relief ... and release.

There is so much one could say about the symbolism, the framing, the story .... you have to embrace what it tries to tell .. while also being super brutal and in your face (sometimes in your body/stomach too) ... understandable reactions from the characters ... in more sense than one. Just because someone has a "job" to do .. doesn't mean they can't have thoughts and doubts themselves.

You won't even think too much about this having mostly female characters up front ... I am sure one can find "hidden" meaning in that too. A really well done and acted movie ...

You can't do without - no pun intended as always. This is about the characters themselves and their fears ... as much as it seems to be about a real threat that they have to fight (or embrace? Well you'll get quite the interesting answer to that one) ... an interesting concept and well acted overall.

The effects are also good. If you like horror movies ... this will be for you. Apart from not being too afraid or able to watch scary movies, this also has the suffocating theme ... so if you have issues with that ... if you feel walled in (claustrophobia as some call it) ... the movie may spark something in you ... not in a good sense. So be aware of these things ... not for the sensitive (especially considering the level of violence shown) ...
