Gravity Falls (2012–2016)

Another good show for all ages!

Well done Disney! You have done it again.

It's not easy to find a show that will be entertaining for the whole family. Gravity Falls is one of those rare gems in midst of the mediocrity that is aired on Disney Channel these days.

I still have not managed to watch all of the episodes, I have barely begun! From I have seen thus far I am impressed. The characters are great and the 2D animation is not usually my style but it's decent.

I particularly like Bill Cipher, he makes an interesting antagonist. Easily one of Disney's most powerful villains.

I look forward to seeing the remaining of the show. Although GF is time consuming, it's really worth the watch.

Nothing like it's adaption

Warning: Spoilers
The Last Airbender was disappointing to put it mildly. I was therefore very hesitant to check out the original material.

I'm happy to admit my initial expectations were proved wrong. ATLA is a masterpiece and its sequel Legend Of Korra turned out to be even better.

Aang is instantly likable. He has a spontaneous and childlike quality to him that makes me him nothing short of endearing. I also really enjoyed seeing Katara, Sokka and especially Zuko and Toph. Zuko is now one of my all time favorite characters. I never expected to like him as much as I did at the end. What a character development.

The structure of the story is simply marvelous. The build up is slow but riveting. It's told from the dueling point of views of Aang and Zuko. Complete opposites on the surface. But the deeper you dig, the more similar they become. And seeing them grow from enemies to best friends was incredible. My favorite scene is their dance at the fire temple. The music and drums really pulls you into the moment.

Don't get me started on the humor! Sokka and Toph completely own it on the comedy department.

I could go on and on about what a fantastic experience watching this show was but I don't want to spoil too much. All I can say is watch it. It's really worth it. You will only wish you had seen it sooner.

Pretty Solid

Having finally finished watching the entire Dragons: Race to the Edge to its full fruition, I'm going to retract my previous review.

Race to the Edge is not as formulaic and repetitive as I had initially assumed. The first season might have been a little dull but by the second- and third season, the show is a full- on action packed adventure with the right amount of romance, comedy and drama. Viggo Grimborn is one of the most cunning and vicious villains to grace animated television. It's just an added bonus that he is voiced by the great Alfred Molina.

Adults will enjoy this alongside with their children. It builds up to the second How to Train Your Dragon, showing us how the youths grew up. The animation as well is remarkable, pretty impressive for a mini television show.

Highly recommended (no spoilers)

This show is highly addictive and entertaining. I never expected it to be this great. A friend recommended it to me since I am cartoon fan. I only wish I had seen it sooner.

It's sometimes hard to believe this is kids show. The writing is top quality. The humor is subtle and intelligent. If you have kids, you should definitely watch this with them. The themes are great. There are so many lessons to learn.

It's entertaining for the whole family. Best of all, the episodes are pretty short so you can binge watch easily.

Really worth watching! Check it out.
