Sarkar a bolly wood remake of Godfather is not even remotely close to the original as par to execution wise. The next major fault of the movie is that RGV remained principal characters in the movie underdeveloped. Even the title character of the movie played by Mr. Bacchan is not clearly developed. But still this movie need some mentioned because for its powerful performances from lead cast. Specially the surprise element is the performance from Jr. Bacchan. If You disagree with RGV version that Abhiseikh is ahead of Big B in terms of natural talent of performing arts go and watch Sarkaar you will realize he has said nothing wrong. He least speaks and he performs with his eyes. Shahrukh & Amir this guy is superstar of tomorrow and like Hrithwik I can bet you cannot stop him. He is undeniably the best actor of this generation and Hrithwik Roshan is next to follow. Story is Crime Saga like all RGV films. Amitabh is the most powerful person in Bombay who believe in his own Principal and ethics. He run his unparalleled government and even Chief Minister of the state can do nothing against him as he has so much popularity in between masses. He believe in helping poor and helpless people and he is known for giving justice to the innocent one. The problem comes in his life when he deny to help his some of the colleagues for unethical work. Further he became victim of grand design operated by gangsters and Chief Minister of the state. For this purpose they even took help of his elder son. Suddenly a leader of the opposition played by Anupam Kher in the movie get murdered and Amitabh Bacchan became the prime suspect of all these. He became arrested but Abhiseikh his younger son took a mission to find out guilty. And finally he do what he owe from his heart. Love triangle between Katrina, Abhiseikh & Tanisha runs along with the principal story in the movie. Anyway I love this movie because of the performances of Jr. B, K.K. Menon & of course Big B.9 out of 10. Watch it you will definitely love it for some good reason it has, to be 1st hit movie of next 6 month of year 2005.

Khakee is a sure shot paisa basool movie. It has action, emotion, romance, comedy and probably each and every ingredients of commercial cinema for sure shot success. Khakee is a story of old DCP who is almost on the verge of retirement from the tenure of his long service. But unfortunately he has done nothing in his career instead of training new officers and policemen. But yes there is still some passion left in his blood and soul to do something before getting retirement. He is frustrated from the system and dirty politics because he was victimized from that every now and than. The day of his daughter's marriage is also approaching very near & suddenly he got the assignment from his superiors that he has to supervise the team of a small task force for the very purpose of presenting a terrorist(Atul Kulkarni in the movie)safely in front of Judiciary. The assignment itself was very risky and important as few officials & policemen were killed before during the same process committed earlier. Now lets introduced you with the all member of task force as it becomes so very important as the story progresses. Amitabh is of course a team leader, Akshay Kumar is there who is corrupt and lady killer kind of guy and there is Tushar, a new cop with honesty and enthusiasm to do something big for the nation and system and also there are few more constables. Amitabh, a very desperate man starts the operation with his team mates. He went to custody where Atul Kulkarni was kept getting unknown with the fact that they were followed by there opponents. On the course of there action they do realized there is someone who knows about each and every information regarding there future activities. Ajay Devgan a criminal type ex-cop is after this task force. Who don't want to make there mission successful. Inbetween Aishwarya Roy join the group of task force on the course of disposing bomb from a school. This may cause a danger for her so Amitabh don't allow her to move alone and as a result she joined the task force. As the movie progresses Aishwarya & Akshay come across each other and there you can see transition of Akshay from a bad cop into a legendary one. But suddenly they come to realize Atul Kulkarni the one whom they were thinking as terrorist is actually a gem instead of culprit who was victimized because of his honesty towards nation and real culprit is Chief minister of the state. And from than the task force change there motive and there mission now is to give justice to the innocent. The movie is all about how they overcome all these barriers and how they give justice to the nation and for all these how many sacrifices they have to make. Thats it. But movie is so well supplemented by efficient script and duologue you cannot help but just realize how much you enjoy the movie. Songs are not significant but they are well shot and very good. There is also surprise package in the form of Aishwarya who turns a vamp from good looking innocent lover. Tushar I must say for the 1st time look very close to his respective profession of acting. Akshay Kumar is extremely good and lovable. Aishwarya is shocking. Ajay Devgan is as always brilliant. He stands shoulder to shoulder with Big B and this will always remain one of his finest performances ever. About Bacchan I must say Khakee remain always his comeback movie which recalls me of his angry young man days. The way he narrate his profession in the police station in front of another police officer is really a treat to watch. This movie is no doubt one man show from Mr. Bacchan. Simply great movie for Bacchan's fan. 9 out of 10. A must see movie.

Blockbuster movie can be projected. Yes Blockbuster movie can be projected, you cannot deny after viewing this movie. Assemble stars like Shahrukh, Jaya, Kajol, Kareena, Hrithwik, Rani & Amitabh, adopt it with mediocre feel good script, supplement with story which can make family audience cry and laugh and visualize some great songs & cinematography from Eourope and finally market it with the brand name such as Yash Raj Banners or Dharma Production. You will definitely have a blockbuster movie called Kabhie Khusie Kabhie Gum.

There is no new story in the movie. Plot is very ordinary. Amitabh Bacchan is a big shot who hates poor people and who feels to be good human you need to get a culture from big family and of course Jaya is his spouse. Shahrukh is an orphan who is nurtured by Amitabh & Jaya. Hrithwik is there own son but they have never shown any difference between both of them. There is tradition in Amitabh's family to send there male members to boarding for study i.e. in London. Movie begins with feel good scene of returning Shahrukh Khan from London. Soon he starts getting responsibilities of business from Amitabh. But accidentally he fell in love with Kajol who belongs to an ordinary family while Amitabh wants to get him married with Rani from big family. Even Rani wants to marry Shahrukh. Finally Shahruk expresses his love for Kajol in front of Amitabh but Amitabh as predictably deny. Shahrukh decides to go after Amitabh's decision i.e. to leave Kajol and to marry Rani but at the day he went to Kajol to express the truth He has to face the death situation of Kajol's father and he don't convinced at this particular phase of time he should leave Kajol. So he happens to marry Kajol and took her in front of Amitabh. As all of we knew this further add misunderstanding and results as departure of Shahrukh from Home.

He shifted at London with Kajol and her sister Kareena and starts doing Job. In between Hrithwik do return back from hostel and he knew all these from others. He decided to get his brother back for his family reunion and for this he wants his father to extend their culture of sending male members to boarding i.e London. At London he finally manage to fell in love with Poo played by Kareena Kapoor of course his childhood friend and Kajol's sister. But they hide all these from Shahrukh. And than starts a long & mediocre process of getting him back home to India. Inbetween Amitabh do come at London and Hirthwik manage coincidental meeting between Shahrukh & Amitabh. Finally Hrithwik succeed to get Shahrukh back to home in India for some days and there with family blend of sentimental melodrama director Johhar manage to give his movie a feel good happy ending with some intense final hour moments. Thats it. But one thing which makes this movie really feel good is its A rate performances. Jaya, Kajol, Kareena & Hrithwik really mention and deserve compliments for there superb performances. But two actors who stand out with their superb acting are Amitabh & Shahrukh. Shahrukh in his author backed role and Amitabh in small yet significant but so very emotional role is a treat to watch in the movie. Both proves why they are legends of Indian Cinema. This one at least mention some attention just because of these two great performances.
