I watched it during the christmas break this year and enjoyed it. Good acting, good script!

Very British problem
3 November 2020
I found it very similar to British humour: self-deprecation, undetectable sarcasm, socially inept character, awkward encounters of the character etc. Especially it reminds me of Miranda and Fleabag with a Turkish twist. I like it! I think Bartu and Tolga make a great team and did a good job! Keep it up!

It is a gem!

I have been following Alex Garland's works since 2001 after reading the beach. He became one of my favourite writers/screenwriters. I liked the story of this drama, it is really gripping and flawless but I am not sure about the main character, Lilly.

Poetic!

I didn't know about the director of the film much but this movie shows that I should watch David Mackenzi closely. I really liked the movie and I accept that it may effect me more because of the lockdown we are having now.

Giving 8 for Joaquin Phoenix' performance not for Todd Phillips.

a matter of personal taste

It is not bad but I watched comparing it to the wicker man. Storyline wasn't good enough. Story connections are very weak. However, I gave 7 for the director and the main actress.

Must-see!

Ümit Ünal is one of the best and original screenwriters in Turkey since his young age so I do respect him tremendously. The film was an enjoyable black comedy. The role suits Demet Evgar. It deserves at least 7 overall.

Enjoyable

It wasn't boring except for the story of the girl and her mother. It was unnecessary to put the scenario together with such a story. It could be better but I enjoyed it!

Could be better!

The first season was not bad, the story and characters were gripping but the 2nd season is a disappointment. The script of the 2nd season fall short. Characters and their dialogue are so weak. Okan Yalabik was really good at 1st one and his performance is still outstanding in contrast to the script. In my opinion, the story has lost its credibility.

Very good acting

A movie that needs to be watched because of the well-known actors' performance in it. Especially, Mel Gibson played well here after a long time, I must say.

Gülse Birsel is great enough
31 December 2018
If there is Gülse Birsel's signature either under the scenario or in the project anyhow, the series can be watched in my opinion. She is fantastic to keep her finger on the pulse of Turkish society. Nicely done!

The characters were so dull
27 December 2018
I like Gosling so I gave 5 for his performance. Except that it was really boring and setup of the story was really poor. The characters were so dull unfortunately.
