So bad that I left theatre
19 October 2019
No, this isn't what I was waiting for. Yes, it's funny and it has jokes in it. But it also feels like one of those sequels which exist only to make money on the first film. The writing felt little weird, zero character development, and it was unnecessary to have new addition to the cast, when it worked fine with just 4 + Murray.

Columbus is Ohio now, Talahassee is grumpy old dad, Witchita is a witch, and Little Rock looks way too old for a 21 year old.

I didn't have any big expectations from the film as such, yet I am disappointed.

Not Sure if Fantasy of a Little Girl or a Mental patient
16 April 2019
Through out the film I could only see poor references to "Shutter Island" as the lead KIT being a patient and everything we see through her eyes seems so magical, however I feel whelmed when I see other characters being vague with their body language and dialogue. It constantly reminds me of shutter island and also partially like "SUCKER PUNCH"

A Beautiful Beast
1 February 2019
Never seen anything this beautiful and horrifying at the same time. Its astounding to see the nightcrawler team come back and take it all. Jake Gyllenhaal and Rene Russo and the whole case nailed it. the storyline is very engaging and you wouldn't wanna take off your eyes from the screen, even for a second. You'll lose a lot if you skip a shot.

Parvarthy did what most successful bollywood actors wouldn't
13 January 2019
It is not easy for a south indian actor/actress to show up in a decent hindi film with enough screentime to showcase themselves. nevertheless no actress would agree to make their bollywood debut with a character which is described as 35YO divorcee. But Parvathy did it and she stole the show. The storyline and narrative kept the whole film light-hearted as well as kept it organic with respect to the emotion following the characters. Irrfan khan is an ace when it comes to playing weirdo but here he completely nailed the character as a hearthrob. I might not watch this movie over and over again, but I can watch this movie any time and I wouldn't be bored... EVER

Who wants time travel when you can always rewind
19 December 2018
This was a perfect mixture of art, science and fantasy. I have never ever seen any movie which intrigued me like Mr. Nobody did. I still remember each frame of this film and how beautifully its shot.

I cannot be fascinated enough to describe this movie and how well it was written, shot, enacted, edited and every thing else about it. Very small details have been taken in account and have been addressed. While keeping it all so close to reality. I really want all movie lovers to watch this film, and have this on their "Movies to watch before you die" list

I'd lock it in a Time Capsule for everyone to watch it for ages to come
14 December 2018
Irrespective of mythology and iterations, This film will always charm me as it did the first time. Though the film was to narrate the historical events of TROY, I loved how the films shows you that a King can come down on his knees for his son, and also a king will rage a war for his wife, just to slaughter her later.

Its not history, its not mythology, its just human nature.

Ocean's crew is better than holding grudge
14 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Yes, when you are capable of stealing 3 casino's in Las Vegas, you could definitely do better than holding grudge at someone. And It was really sick to see Ruben getting into a bad deal and being unable to handle the consequences.

Weakest of them all
14 December 2018
Okay, so there was a good story, a good villain, and also a good suspense to all of it, but at the end, it all felt weird and disconnected. As much as I enjoy 11 and 13, I donot feel the same way for 12, And I love all of them equally, yet I keep 12 on bay.

You may like it, but I did not.

This will always be On TOP of my favorite movies
14 December 2018
If there is something about this film that you'd never forget, it is the feeling of being part of Daniel Ocean's crew. As you watch this film, you drift through the crew and essentially become part of the crew. You would know exactly why or how anyone would react to things, and why Danny and Rusty are the nuts from same bag.

I love it how Rusty's character is constantly hungry all over the film/series.

Anti-heroes are damn popular but not this underdog. There haven't been any animated movie which tells you a story about an under-dog villain. This is one.

Good film, good cast, good narrative. Execution could've been better, CGI were breath taking. but definitely there was room for improvement.

Everything that shines isn't gold
14 December 2018
After the success of Kick-Ass, it was expected for a sequel as all other super hero films, but as Edgar Wright had said "You cannot push a story after where it ends" and thats what happened with this sequel, the first film itself gave us everything we wanted from this character/film, but the sequel was a bad idea. and when you're storyline has noting new to offer, you don't wanna make that film, or for that matter, being an audience you wouldnt' wanna watch that film.

PS: Though it wasn't a great film, I did enjoy watching it. And yes I wouldn't mind watching it again!

When you take BATMAN too seriously
14 December 2018
This is a film which will motivate you to become a superhero. 2010's was a period where all superhero films were getting hyped up irrespective of how good or bad they were. But this one movie stood out of the crowd, It had no "SUPER" element in it, but was filled with all "HERO" material. Matthew Vaughn's Super heros are the closest to reality, if you can feel them, then you can be one of them.

Its good that people weren't too motivated to dress up and go fight crime. but Definitely good film to watch!

One of the finest performances of BRAD PITT
14 December 2018
I was on a spree to watch all brad pitt movies when I saw Moneyball, though there are a lot of wonderful performances by brad pitt, I loved him in this movie more than anything. To me it didnt feel like brad was acting, he owned the character and all its pain and it was well reflected on screen with amazing writing.

I don't remember a thing about this film, AND ITS GOOD
14 December 2018
Have you ever had one of those days, where you're driving to work and once you reach, you wont remember how you got there. That is fight club, when your fatigue takes a step forward and shakes hands with your insomnia and all unhealthy habits you become the narrator.

morethan just being a film, Fight-club is a cult. I and my friends do practice it (in all good spirits though) keeps us at our best.

In case you don't know, the first rule of fight club is....

Superhero movies have never been this good
14 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
So what do you know about any superhero movie? It has good the origin story, a conflict and resolution. but Not this one, The movie starts with the pre-origin of Arthur Curry (loosely based on New 52 comics) when his mother Queen Atlanna meets a surface dweller Thomas "Tom" Curry, a light house keeper. She spends about 2 years with him and has a baby named after an hurricane "Arthur Curry" later to be known as Aquaman. Before you even dwell into the aquaman/arthur curry's story line you come to see a beautiful lovestory between the parents. and eventually same continues between Mera and Arthur.

This wasn't just an other superhero/comic book movie, this had all elements of surprises with various kingdoms of the sea (Trench & brine) The emotional development of characters like Thomas, Atlanna, Manta/BlackManta and even our very own Patrick Wilson's King Orm. He isn't a regular villain who wants to take over the world, he has a right agenda and equally justified reason to hate surface dwellers, its just his way of doing this isn't politically correct though.

The editing/Narration of the film takes you places, literally. I love how transitions are shown through Water/Sun and those time jumps.

I could go on and on about this, but to sum it all up.... I felt like a child while watching this movie. I was so fascinated looking at all the visuals, characters and the beautifully narrated story-line.

PS: Watch out for BlackManta and Shin ;)

Never been so excited to watch Jungle Book or its Re-telling
7 December 2018
I've always been fascinated by how Warner Bros re-tells the stories.. I was awestruck after watching The Legend of Tarzan and Since very first day of this film. I have been excited for each and every update about it, til today's release on Netflix. I would have loved to even watch it on Big Screen, I really wish I could. Andy Serkis as the director of this film had made it worth waiting for. And the voice cast is so astounding, Christain Bale as bageera, Andy Serkis' Baloo, and luscious voice of Cate Blanchett as Kaa.. Cant get enough of it.

If I have to describe all this in a simple way, I'd say that you'd be able to relate with the characters, all of them, Especially how you engage with the story and look into the eyes (you'd know it when you watch the film).

If you're looking for motivation for free life. You stop here!
6 November 2018
I am not a racing fan, nor I knew anything about James Blunt/Niki Lauda before I began this film. I was just a movie lover, watching another biopic. The story takes you back in time and lets you live with the racing legends James Blunt and Niki Lauda.

I loved how the dynamics between two rivals kept them going against each other and yet they were good friends. Though the movie only shows part of their journey, you can feel the warmth in their relationship. A healthy rivalry, and how important things can be for you when you are on the line.

I would any day be ready to watch, and re-watch this film again and again, and the soundtrack, just the though of it gives me goosebumps. Hans Zimmer' Music, astounding visual, and I don't have any words to describe the performance by both actors. It will never look as if it was a film shot with actors, I didnt think so, it felt surreal to me, as if I was watching a documentary of two racing legends and how both their lives made them choose what they did.

I would die to see further details of it, may be a series or a sequel or even a spin-off film. I hope writers/makers consider that.

Fell in love with every bit of this film
6 November 2018
Right from the very beggining of the film, I was very intrigued by the story itself. And right when I was ready to engage myself to the film, I see Eddie Redmayne as Stephen Hawking, I was already sold to it. I could watch it even if it were 6 or 10 hour long. I have seen so many biopics earlier each had its own place in a way but this one will always stay special to me, the actors, story, narrative, even the landscapes, photography, the very lights in each frame just blew me away. And It wasn't done yet, I still listen to the OST of this film, after 2 years since I saw it, and Arrival of Birds is one of the top played songs on my playlist. I would love to elaborate on the story and how fascinated I was to watch this beautifully crafted film but that wouldn't be called a review, it would be called a thesis, Just kidding. The last few minutes of the film, I had tears in my eyes and the music queues, I couldn't feel my legs after the movie ended and I still love this film to the very core of it. Each actor did the very best of what they could and I can never see any such performance ever again, nor I will ever company any other film, actors, performances or anything with this film.

Grandeur!

Dont go with ratings if you like narratives and reading between lines
4 November 2018
I cannot believe that people can be so lame, this film is one of the amazing greek mythologies, next to TROY though, I felt bit off with all shiny gods though but that was fine for a film made in 2010, I would let that pass. Liam Neeson as Zeus, Ralph Fiennes as Hades, Sam Worthington as Perseus and directed by Louis Leterrier. What more could I possibly ask for. Though I am not very big fan of the followup film.

A real rib-tickling comedy cinema in Bollywood after ages
4 November 2018
I literally cannot think of any good comedy movie after Bhool Bhulaiya, There might have been good films but this one had me on the edge of my seat, laughing and not just me but the whole theatre was laughing like hell. Thoroughly enjoyed every second of the film. It did take us back to the middle class family values and how Indians see things as Taboo but there 0% drop in the engagement. Even the sentiments were handled really well. And KUDOS to the whole star cast. Each and every character (including supporting actors) everyone nailed it.
