Puppy Love (II) (2023)

A feel good Rom-com

Warning: Spoilers
People love to say a movie is "predictable"....so what? Of course it's predictable, but it's about character development, chemistry and execution. It held my attention throughout. I thought the director did a good job, and I liked how they held off on the inevitable kiss until the end. It was fun to see Jane Seymour in a cameo, loved her in Wedding Crashers. Back to the chemistry: In reality, not many women would tolerate his neurotic and idiosyncratic behaviors, but I could see someone like Lucy handling him with class and patience, and giving men the hope of finding someone like her! Well worth watching!

Nice story, decent acting, beautiful scenery, good music, and it was wonderful to see Vanessa Redgrave in a role that showed her extraordinary talent!

Painful!

The actors seemed very stiff like an acting class just running lines with no commitment or chemistry.

There was nothing believable and I was nervous just watching.

The whole package!

I wish Hollywood could make shows like this. Just like 800 Words, the characters are so relatable and authentic. I would put this on a par with Parenthood. Only two seasons? This just leaves me wanting more!

800 Words (2015–2018)

Not many shows affect me like 800 Words!

It's the best series since Parenthood, every character is endearing, the writing is excellent, the dialogues aren't trivial but compelling and believable. George's struggle with the loss of his wife is palpable and tears your heart out! George is vulnerable which adds an extra layer of attraction to the quirky and beautiful women of Weld. Tongue in cheek humor is cleverly laced throughout the storyline and I can't wait for each new episode!

The whole cast was excellent, CBS should have put it in better time slots, better than most of the current med dramas now on. We need a reboot!!
