The Monkey is a horror movie which will be enjoyed if you don't take it seriously because execution wise, movie is weak and it also lacks depth.

The story, though entertaining and horrific to watch, doesn't reach it's full potential; the screenplay was decent, though it could have been morr tight snd thrilling; the direction felt a little bit loose and the performances didn't connect especially the father son relationship was way off. Though the death scenes were chilling.

Overall, though it makes you enjoy if you love watching gore horror but story and other technical aspects were weak, making it a one time watch.

Sicario was a good movie with elements of drama, action, thriller and twist/ turns with a dark plot which engages you from the start till the end. This sequel is a decent continuation of the original but lacks many things which made the original so engaging.

The story was way simpler than the original with same plot as many other CIA based stories with focus only on action; the screenplay could have been been more tight; the direction was simple and the performances were good.

Overall, it is a decent watch which you will enjoy watching but as compared to the original, it lacks a lot of elements.

Sicario is an intense drama which with it's plot narrates a dark reality of what is happening in reality and what is shown to the public regarding the problems of drug syndicate.

The story was slowly built, was good and intense; the screenplay was little bit slow and could have been tightened; the direction was good and the performances were great and elevated the overall movie. The elements of drama, crime, action, thriller and suspense, all were nicely blended.

Overall, it was a good watch and if you are a drama/ crime genre lover, then this one is for you. Now, I am heading for the sequel.
