I had really hoped for more from this movie. I had high expectations because I've been a fan of Rob and his work since the early-ish days of White Zombie.
You'll get some decent effects here, which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 3, but don't expect any decent dialogue or likable characters that have any depth whatsoever. With that said, I do understand this type of movie and what it's supposed to be. I wasn't expecting any Oscar-worthy performances or writing here, but it still felt incredibly lacking. Shortly after the characters were introduced I just wanted it to be over.
