Seriously? you guys really like this?
31 October 2009
This may not be the worst movie of all time, but it at least deserves to be in the top 10. Horrid acting, over-dramatized scenarios, unbelievable scenes and situations, and the best looking nude may have been a 6. I'm being generous. Normally I would have given this film a 2 or 3 (depending on how drunk I am) rating, but I feel I must give it a 1 to offset the truly poor judge of taste that so many have languished on this film that does little more than lay there and pine for our attentions, using 3rd rate acting and 3rd rate nudity. I could almost swear that one chick had a cesarean scar. I was lured to this crap fest by the IMDb rating. I can only assume that every student at the college that filmed this must have logged in and up'd the ratings. Save your time and don't bother with this one. The worst part of the whole movie is they opened it up for a sequel.

Falls flat
23 March 2008
I felt that this movie could have been so much more. I enjoyed the acting from Dustin Hoffman, and Jason Bateman, but I felt that the rest of the cast were very animated and unconvincing. There were many interesting elements that this movie could have drawn on, things that could have made this a much better movie, that were just left there to whither. I feel that the director was trying to market this movie on awes and sentimental tripe, and only managed to leave most of us with a sense of bewilderment when the credits started to roll. The story line is extremely weak, poorly executed, and at the end, I felt cheated. I generously give this movie a 5, based solely on some of it's visuals and the acting abilities of the afore mentioned cast. If you absolutely must see this film, wait to pick it up in the bargain bin at your local video store, or until it's aired on television.

Great game
26 May 2006
In it's day, this was a premium game. A must have for any crpg'r or Raymond feist fan. Strong game play and character development, as well as incredible storyline. Playing this game is akin to reading the book, and yes there is a lot of text to read throughout the game. The graphics and character movement are a still interesting although grainy and choppy compared to todays titles. This game would probably not interest todays younger gamers, but old timers might want to revisit it. Many negative comments could be made concerning this game, mostly comparing it to games of the last 5 or so years, I still say this game holds the through the test of time. This game is available free for download on many websites that promote abandoned and public domain software.

Best Movie Ever
13 September 2005
This is the best movie ever made. I remember as a child seeing this movie 3 to 4 times a year (pre-cable). You can not compare it to movies made today, or any movie since. Just consider that it was made in 1939, and in color, when black and white was the standard for most all films until the mid 60's. This film set the bar too high to be touched. It was the largest production of it's and any other time. I recommend the DVD version of this film, as the history of the filming is as enticing as the movie itself with a deep history and fun facts. Sure to delight people of all ages, this movie is timeless. Class grade A golden era movie!
