I watched this at work, well at least the first bit. Actually I'm still wastching it as I write this review and I'm not entirely sure if I'll end up watching the whole show. I'm a little bit tired and feeling run down so I'll see. I did like the first bit thought, there was lots of witty banter and those cool retro bikes with the long seat and I loved the punch up followed by the bit when they all jumped off the cliff into the water. After that russel Crowe came on and started banging on about some boring stuff I think I'll just annoy mark for a little while and see if this movie gets any better.

Not a bad show to be honest. The episodes are pretty long so normally my wife falls asleep halfway through the episode so I either have to tell her what happened and what the interesting twist in the case was, or we rewind it to where she thought she fell asleep and we can watch it again. Even if we do that she normally falls asleep again anyway so I just tell her who the murderer was and why they did it and that way we can move on to the next episode. Often when she falls asleep her snoring is really load and I can hardly hear what is going on anyway so I just read the synopsis and tell her that happened.

Denzel

We watched this one at work because we saw the first one earlier and it was pretty good so we assumed this one would be good too. It took us ages to find it as the first one was streaming on Stan and this one was streaming on binge. Mark wasn't sure if this one had Denzel Washington in it or not so we checked and it turned out that he is in this one. I liked the bit at the start with the train and the bloke in a funny white hat. Then we stopped it to go back to the start so we could read the description of the movie which wasn't really that helpful nsw we decided to just watch the movie so we did.

Warning: Spoilers
I like the bit at the start where the girls were dancing in front of the boys and the girls had a tray with a glass on top and they were balancing it on there heads and they kept dancing while the boys drunk and laughed until one of the girls overbalanced and then the plate and the glass fell off of their head and everyone laughed. I then liked the next scene where they were driving in a car and then they were at home and the eggs started rattling as if there was an earth quake or something. Then the bloke drove off in his car and the bloke in the car next to him gave him the middle finger. Then I lost interest and looked at the cricket score.

Drugs

Really great family rom com and easily the pick of the 7 or 8 movies of the same name, just as good as Midsommer murders and easily way better than a midsummer nights dream which I found extremely boring, it was mainly just talking and crap, there were a few decent sex scenes but the rest of it was too hard to follow. Anyway this movie was much better than that. There was something in it for the whole family whether it was the drug use or the extreme violence. My girls especially liked the bit where that bloke was burned alive in the barn. They couldn't wait to go to preschool the next day and tell their friends all about it.

Better than the summit
24 May 2023
My wife was watching the summit on the telly and it was so bad that I winged and winged until she put this on instead. Really anything would have been better than that terrible show. I didn't really watch much of the show, I was to busy writing the previous review of the summit that I missed most of the first episode. It was funny when they made fun of the winging poms. There was a bit with the Nissan huts that was a bit interesting and there was a good bit with the football game. Probably a few good punch ups and stuff too. One of the ladies in the show had a really good set of jubblies as well.

Absolutely terrible and yes I really mean that.
24 May 2023
The summit is an absolute turd of a show. Normally I give everything 10 stars as a bit of an on going joke but this show is so bad that I am going to break this tradition and give it only one. I would give it a minus if I could. I'm not really sure how to fill 600 characters just saying how bad it is so I will say this. This show is so bad that it makes a lot of other really really terrible shows look good such as MAFS, big brother, all those stupid cooking shows and even the Block, which I really really hate. In fact I don't even hate Scott "Scotty" Cam anywhere near as much as I hate any of the narcissistic dicks on this show.

Tipping Point: Episode #6.10 (2015)

Oh ben
17 February 2023
One of my favourite episodes this one. Ben Shepard was awesome as per usual. After a brief introduction of the four contestants we were straight into the action. The first stanza consisted of answering questions in order to gain a counter which would be put into the machine. This counter would then displace other coins and if they fell over the tipping point the contestant would add an amount to their score based on the number of counters that went over the tipping point the person with the lowest score at the end of the round was eliminated. Several other rounds were played with a slightly different format but the same principle culminating in a jackpot round where the winning contestant could win a substantial monetary prize. There were a few other twist and turns in the show but you'll have to watch for yourself.

I feel a bit silly because I reviewed now you see me 2 before I even reviewed now you see me one. I didn't really pay attention to the second one anyway but I think I came up with a pretty decent review but at least I was in the same room whilst it was on. The same can't be said for this movie. I was in the next room eithe doing the crossword or having lunch or maybe a cup of tea. I did notice that the movie had some really loud bits now and then although that doesn't necessarily mean it was a good movie. Jamey did say it was pretty good and it had some well known stars in it including people I know and others that I have never heard of before.

Funny. I think
10 February 2023
I wasn't really planning on watching this but one of my workmates was watching it so I decided to sit there next to him and ask him heaps of stupid questions all throughout the movie just to annoy him. In the end I got bored with doing that and mark fell asleep anyway so I decided to do the cross word in the telegraph and maybe watch a bit of the cricket on the other telly in the next room. I think it looked a bit boring to be honest but it did seem to have some pretty good actors in it like that bloke on cheers and the other funny bloke. Also jamey saw the first one and said it was ok. If the first one is good then surely the sequel will be good too.

Gangs of London: Episode #2.7 (2022)

Wow just wow
11 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I was totally gobsmacked this entire episode. Not because someone cut some blokes arm off and sent it to his family as a matter of a fact like it was no big deal. Not because of all the graphic sex and violence that is prevalent throughout this entire series. Not even that the bloke would consider killing his own mother to suit his own master plan and almost did it too. No none of that really bothered me at all. What really got to me was in the scene where that bloke got his arm cut off and delivered to the family, they put it on the kitchen counter and the island bar only had 4 chairs. Anyone who has watched the block knows that the island bar needs at least 37 seats. No wonder they lost the gang war.

Quaint Rom/com. Wonderful family entertainment. My kids love it. There's really something in it for the whole family drugs violence car chases and a great soundtrack . My girls really liked the bit where he shot that bloke in the mouth and the bullet went through and killed some other bloke, then he turned the guys head and shot two more people. Ha ha. My wife really liked the bit where he impailed that bloke on a microphone stand then dragged him across the broken glass and sliced his neck open. There's also some really good cake baking recipes in one of the earlier episodes along with some torture tips.

I was a bit disappointed with this episode because I thought it was the last one but apparently there is another one next week where they do the auction and all that stuff so there's probably ample opportunities for Scott "Scotty" Cam to carry on like a massive dick. I'll be at work anyway so I won't watch it but I'm sure my wife will give me a comprehensive run down of all that happens including her own option about all the houses even though I make it quite clear to her that I couldn't really give a flying F about it. I did like the average house that had a tennis court basketball court each one complete with 17 butlers pantries.

One of my favourite episodes ever. This has a great deal of controversy if you like that sort of thing and let's face it who doesn't like a bit of controversy now and then. Old love and old mate are experiencing budget troubles and they only have enough money left over to construct a twenty seven seater island bar in the guest bedroom which will obviously affect resale value as most people need a much bigger seating arrangement in the guest bedroom. At least the seven fire pits and plunge pool in the built in wardrobe make up for it. I especially like the way they drink their coffee so the Maccas label faces out too.

One of my favourite episodes of the bloke ever. I even watched some of it whilst I was having an egg and bacon wrap with cheese. This episode had it all including some engineered controversy. Lots of yelling and arguing and there was a brilliant twist bin it where not only scott "scotty" cam was acting like a dick but all the other foremen and hangers on were also acting like dicks too. There was a really funny bit where the woman pulled the handle the wrong way which was comic gold. In a bold gamble old mate decided to only have twelve fire pits in the shed in order to have another two butlers pantries. Will this bold move pay off?

What an awesome episode!!!! Some might say that the script writers just come up with the same old thing day after day week after week year after year. Well that may be so but as Bill Lawry would say "it's what the fans want" why would you break up an award winning combination. Controversy, people doing dumb things, more controversy, Scott "Scotty" Cam doing that bit where he whistles and goes Tools down (my favourite bit), more controversy and finishing off with Scott "Scotty" Cam being a massive dick!!! The was a great plot twist at the end of this episode where one of the contestants was carrying on like a massive dick and you could just see a jealous Scott "scotty" Cam seething in the background. Makes for a very interesting sequel.

One of my favourite shows. Great scrip, brilliant actors and really well directed. I like the bit where they had a tarp on the roof but they took the tarp off and then it rained a bit and water got in and came through the roof. Then I liked the bit where they were about to concrete stuff but the foreman said they had to dig down 2 metres or to the bed rock in order to create a bit of controversy. They swore a bit but it was bleeped out but I still could tell what they said. Then they dug a bit more and hit bedrock so it really wasn't a big deal in the end but at the time I was blown away with all the controversy.

Just when I think the block is starting to slip a bit I am met with this cracker of an episode. Wonderful script and some brilliant acting. Did I mention the controversy?? Ahh the controversy. More controversy than all the cooking shows put together. Then I was absolutely blown away by all of the guest bathrooms which contained no fewer than 19 butlers pantries. My only criticism of the show was the bit where Shelly Craft did that bit that Scott "Scotty" Cam does where she does a whistle and says Tools down. Now call me old fashioned but doing things like that and carrying on like a massive dick is a MANS JOB!!!!

Even though I gave this 10 stars I still feel this show is starting to slip a little. It started well in the first season with that bloke who used to be a stripper and then on some gardening show and the actors on the show have been pretty good ever since especially that Scott "Scotty" Cam who brilliantly milked that catchphrase where he would do that whistle and go tools down. That was hilarious in the first season and just as good 800 episodes later. Unfortunately I believe this season has reached the jump the shark moment and no amount of butlers pantries and massive island bars will stop the slide.

A movie about space aliens or something or other and contains some singing and dancing and other stuff. Honestly it's much more difficult coming up with a review now that there is a 600 character minimum. Usually I just say the bits I like and that's it but it's nowhere near enough characters. Now I have to waffle on for ages to reach the minimum amount. At least they have the counter in the top now so that I know if I have reached the right amount of words. That way I don't have to press the button and hope I have done enough words only to fall short by a couple of words and then I have to kee.

Awesome start to the movie. I really liked the bit where the car came down the hill and crashed into the house. I must admit it started me quite a bit even though I knew it was coming. Then there was another really good bit where he punched the man in the face and he fell over. I had a really nice ice cream whilst I was watching. There wasn't a great selection and my favourite one Sicilian blood orange and chocolate wasn't there so I had to opt for Queensland mango and coconut which is my close second favourite anyway. Then I like the bit where he punched a hole in the window and hurt his hand.

Hand on the buzzer is what tony barber used to say. My geography/social science teacher said this when he realised that we had a bit of dirt on him courtesy of another teacher. Not quite the magnitude of Nepals topsoil exports but dirt none the less. We found out through a teacher that CC had jobbed some bloke at touch football the night before. Of course we couldn't wait till next lesson to have a go at him about this. When we did old mate was a bit flustered and quite embarrassed and said Look at you sitting there with your hand on the buzzer. You just couldn't wait to buzz in and have a go. He was probably right too.

Did you know Nepals greatest export is it's topsoil? That's what my geography teacher always said he also told a really good story about gorillas. He was at the zoo with his brother in law. I think the zoo was in San Francisco or San Diego. What ever it's not really important it was a zoo. Anyway the brother in law was a bit of a lair pretty cool pretty trendy. You know pretty cool pretty trendy. Anyway he was sizing up this gorilla behind a Perspex glass screen just looking him right in the eye, pretty cool pretty trendy. Any way this gorilla went BANG!!!and every one went WHOOOOOH!! And he didn't even blink an eye lid......didn't even blink an eye lid.

I thought about watching this one one night but it was a little bit derivative for my liking so I went into the other room with the girls and started watching various things on you tube. For the next few hours we watched some really cool videos with all these cakes where you cut them in slices and put a hole in the middle then put a doll of a Disney character in the middle of the hole. Then they decorate the cake with various styles using fondant and a variety of cake making tools this provided us with several hours worth of entertainment and then the next day we watched a heap more videos of all the other Disney characters.
